PS3 people using Netflix on their console: search v instant queue

Found out something weird the other night. Not every person with a PS3 using Netflix has the search function (last tab all the way to the left, click here to see screenshots.

Turns out everyone just adds stuff to their instant queue on their PC, and uses the instant queue tab on the PS3 to watch things. It was at that point I realized I couldn't add anything to the instant queue on my PC. There's no button or drop down menu or anything on the Netflix website to add instant watch movies/shows to the instant queue. I'm only able to add to the instant queue on the PS3.

Is this the deal for anyone else? If you have the search function on your PS3, there's not Instant Queue control on the Netflix website?

Not all movies can be added to instant que. Some things can only be watched right there on the PC.

I can't add ANYTHING to my instant queue if I'm on my computer. The only way I'm able to anything to my instant is if I'm in the Netflix application on my PS3. Kinda defeats the purpose since I still have to search for it

Well I would delete my browser history and reboot the PC to see if that helps. If that doesn't help I would call Netflix directly.

I can't even add to the instant queue if I'm using the PS3 browser. Only way is to use the Netflix app.

I did some searching around, and not everyone seems to have the instant queue ability, regardless of the PS3. But talking to people with the PS3, it seems that if you have the search feature in the app, you don't have the instant queue ability on the PC, only through the app.

isn't the instant queue only available with certain plans? perhaps yours isn't one of them.

From what I understood, it was all plans. Haven't read anything that says it's limited to certain plans
