    Re: PSN Downloader

It's basically a proxy setup on your computer that interferes with the downloads. Instead of downloading the file on your PS3 with extremely slow speeds, the PC will download it much faster. I can usually download 1GB files within 10 minutes then transfer it over to my PS3 in another 5 minutes. That's already much faster than what I normally download through the PSN.

Nope, once the file finishes downloading, you start the download again on PSN and it will transfer over.

If it's possible I'm getting this program right now. It takes me a week to download a demo

so you need a PSP, which i don't have. thanks anyway.

Motown that's not the same program... It's called PSN Download Manager and it is not Sony "approved". You won't get banned for using this since it doesn't do anything illegal or against the terms of service. It's simply using a proxy server which they clearly allow otherwise they wouldn't give that option to use a proxy when you setup your network settings.

Thank you for this...I did as instructed, & I received an "internet connection failed" message...not sure what happened there. everything's fine 'till i change the port to 27. I'm usually pretty savvy, when it comes to electronics...i'm stalled at the moment tho.
