Re: XBOX Live Update Preview Program accepting sign-ups

I noticed xbox.com is changed to the new update, does that mean the the new update has hit xbox live consoles as well?

I'm not home to check it out or I would. Is anyone in front of the 360 to confirm?

Update: It has not been updated.

Not sure if this is the place to post this.

My xbox live gold ended on October 19th. I set up the $1 for 1 month renewal deal back a few months ago. Every day since then , the xbox loads up just fine and I'm a gold member still, so I think everythings okay. A few days pass and two days ago, I go to xbox.com to view my account to turn off auto renewal. But I am presented with a "Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened" screen. On the XBOX dashboard under my Membership it lists $1 for 1 month but upon clicking that, I get a "Status code: 80153003" error. My credit card has not been charged the $1.05, although billing on microsoft.com's website shows a charge for that amount.

Is the recent update messing all this stuff up. The last thing I need is a $50 dollar renewal charge for a new year.

Man what a piss take. I'm a time warner road runner internet subscriber and was supposed to get espn3.com access today. Instead I'm told by customer service that this is only available to time warner cable TV subscribers who have roadrunner now... what a load of BS.

I've contacted the BBB. Nowhere did TWC say anything about needing their TV service to access ESPN3 until about 1030 PM when I talked to them. Earlier in the day I spoke with a CSR on Live Chat and he said I would have access before midnight. I saved the chat transcript.

I'm pretty sure that was always the case. I remember reading when the news broke that you had to have roadrunner and cable tv from TW.

Exactly. They dont want people circumventing their cable service by watching ESPN 3 through the internet.

How do you watch ESPN 3 live events from the 360? I see the highlights interviews etc... but I never see an option to watch live sports.

ESPN 3 is only available with certain cable providers. For example, I didnt have access to it with Comcast but do with Verizon.

They probably have the auto renewal on regardless. Once they have the credit card number, they keep that sucker on file. When you know it's suppose to expire, call them the day before. Put it as a notification so you remember. They will deduct that change with the quickness.

I can't wait until the ESPN3 is live. I just realized that I can watch all the ESPN games on ESPN3. Never knew that because I was always a cable subscriber. That will be great to watch on the screen. I think I just found out a reason to pay the extra $10.

I was hoping the Heat and Celtics game was going to be live. They only have a handful of live events the rest show up a day later for me. I have Uverse IP TV and fiber internet.

"on hoping there is a PSN flash sale before Valentine's Day"
Man there are no flashers... now what are we going to do for vd
I'm sure there's plenty of prostitutes you could pay if you really want vd.
yea but will they take psn cards
Depends on what area of a hooker you would use to redeem them.

                            lol

Anyone getting an error when trying to update? Mine starts then stops, telling me it can't update.

                              EDIT: Nevermind. It updated.

Just updated my 360..seems like they took a little from windows phone 7 design. It's a lot smoother too imo.
