Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I don't know how you guys can stand using screen covers... they bubble, they take away from how good the screen looks, and they really don't do anything outside of helping against smudges, for which I just keep a lens cleaning rag in my case. This screen, much like the iphone screen, isn't going to scratch unless you really abuse it, so it just seems like such a waste of money, lol.
When I worked for ATT, I literally used to take care keys to my iphone screen, just to show customers how durable they were, and to save them money that could be spent on something other than a screen protector.
I only have 3 very small bubbles at right edge that you can't see during any gameplay.
$12.00 'ish for ease of mind
If something did happen then I'd be p!ssed I didn't spend the 12.00 to help protect it.Joshua:

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Is there any workaround at all to get PSP UMDs on the Vita? Decently important for me, as I probably have about 15 or 20 of them that would never get touched again if I have a Vita. Right now I am probably going to wait for a price drop and/or must have game. HSG is nice, but I already have other versions, same thing with Lumines. I still need to play the Uncharted series on my PS3. And for right now, with sports games like FIFA and the Show, most of my gaming would be done at home, and I live alone so there is no reason why I cant use my tv.
All that said, it does look like an amazing piece of hardware, and not getting it has more to do with my financial situation than the Vita's quality (although I do think it is a bit pricey).Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Thanks. The problem is that they are all UMDs. And the last sentence in this paragraph from the article:
So far, I've done this to transfer two of my favorite games: Echochrome and Flow. According to message boards, many more games are transferable, but the only officially supported games are those that show up in the PS Store, and are listed in the official Sony blog post above. Of course, there's a good chance that these other games will officially appear in the PS Store sooner or later. And, sorry, UMD owners: this still doesn't help you at all.
There may be a few games worth rebuying digitally, so that does remain an option. However that is far from ideal.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
To each his own though, wasn't trying to be a dick(dalewood), just not something I would ever buy.
I did, however, have gamestop put one of the trigger grips on hold for me... looking forward to trying that outComment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Yes there are closer camera views just like the PS3 version. Btw": I absolutely love this game on the Vita.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Lol, probably my OCD, but those bubbles would literally keep me up at night. No way I'd be having that!

I do appreciate the assistance though. It just may seem that I am SOL on this one.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I ended up with a view that I can live with and like I said in my earlier post, I normally play on a 106" screen, so if I can adjust to a 5 inch screen, anyone can.Gamertags

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
This was the first thing I did when I started the game, because everything was too small. You can zoom in , and pan down.. etc.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I am going to order one of those grips, because FIFA would be much easier to control with them. On the naked Vita, it takes a bit to get used to holding it
(and I had to turn off the back touch screen, I think its more of a hassle really)Gamertags
