Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Ok I finished my first Daily International Tournament in Hot Shots.
Where do I see where I currently rank in that tournament?
When I click on Daily Interntional Tourney Tab, it connects then shows me "Tournament Entry", "Ranking Graph", and "Tournaments entered".
Where do I go from there?
If I go to "Tournament Entry" it has my score for that tourney but thats it.
If I click on "ranking graph" it's blank, nothing listed.
If I go to "Tournaments Entered" it's blank nothing listed.
Does it take awhile to show up or something? Or am I not doing something right?
Thanks in advance.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
You should have seen a provisional ranking while you were playing the round, and just after it. That's the only indication you'll get until the final scores are posted, which happens in the early morning hours. When that happens, the next time you go into the Daily Tournament screen, you'll be shown your results from the previous day's tournaments along with your new overall ranking. The other stats screens (the ranking graph and tournaments entered) will be updated as well.

Just had the strangest round to date: The second Daily, 9 holes, +2 Power Shot.
13 through 16 I had 181 yd Eagle, Double Bogey, Chip in birdie, and a 3 putt Bogey. Just...wow.Comment

What score usually wins you the top spot in 18 or 9 hole tournies?Comment

I picked one up when I purchased my Vita. $17.99 well spent. Much better than using the Vita without it.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Bought the trigger grips, and I'm not sure that I'll keep them. I can see where they add a little more comfort, but they don't seem to solve the problems I'm having with actual ease of use. For $20 of reduced portability, I can see where some people can find good with it, but I won't be one of them as it stands.
I'll give it more of a chance throughout the week, especially with The Show. But if it doesn't do me any good, I'm okay with passing on them.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
If you want it by the numbers, with no special rules involved, scores of -11 or -12 have been enough to win all but one of the 9 hole tournaments, regardless of tees (i.e. the extra distance isn't messing up the leaders). With 2 par 5's per 9 and a couple of drivable Par 4 greens (some via trick shots), it's been very possible to post scores like that.
Scores of -22 and -23 have won 18 hole tournaments on the two courses.
Rounds with rules like Mega Cup have brought the winning scores even lower sometimes, due to much more likely hole-outs from the fairways.
All I can suggest is to get the intermediate and expert characters unlocked as soon as you can through challenge mode, as well as the equipment from the store. But really, it's all just for fun anyway - I haven't heard about any kind of prize for having the most Tour Points (you earn them according to your finishes).Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
So far, yeah. Most of us who have had the game since the Vita dropped will have unlocked the Expert characters and most, if not all of the equipment. And until today the tournaments have only been held on the first two (easiest) courses. The third got introduced today, and I'm interested to see the scores on that one. It's not much tougher, but there's a few spots that can really get you in trouble if you get too greedy.

Anyway, Unit 13 will be where the friendly competition begins. I can't wait for that game. With the score system in that game, trying to beat other peoples scores (especially is OS'ers get the game) will be a blast on the 36 different missions. Plus the new daily mission every day. Going to be fun.Xbox LIVE GT: oALEXtheGREATo
