Right now they seem to be marketing towards the 18-35 year old market. Uncharted, Unit 13, The Show, Wipeout ect. I know they have Mod nation racers and Little Deviants but that's about it.

I think they need a few children's "killer app" titles to sell big numbers. Right now they really have nothing out that makes parents replace their children's Itouches and DS's.

Max Payne on my Itouch confirms that there is definately still a need for handhelds. What a piece of trash..... The controls completely ruined a good game.

EA's not exactly embracing the Vita for development, are they? Last year's Madden gameplay, and no NCAA or NHL.

To be fair, they haven't supported the 3DS either outside of that terrible 3D Madden they released at launch.

give it time and this thing willl shine, Its really too good to fail, I'm sure NHL13 will be on the Vita, If not I'm more then welcome o see if Sony could get back into relasing there own first party Football and NHL and NBA games for the Vita, think that would be awesome.

They can't do football since the NFL license is exclusive to EA.

I was just having this conversation with my son. He want's a touch pretty badly but now wants a VIta because he liks playing UMVC3. I told him exactly what you are referencing, he needs to wait till they get some better games and to go with the touch on the birthday/santas lists until the Vita gets some better games for him. A console to just play UMVC3 doesn't add up.

Steve posted in the NHL forum that EA is not releasing NHL13 on handhelds.

No surprise there. No NHL for the PSP since 2007, no NCAA Football since 2009 or 2010. The PSP still has a way larger user base than the Vita. Unfortunately, unless Vita sale increase significantly, I don't think we'll see hockey or football (other than Madden) for the Vita (and Madden, as another poster noted, is likely to just be a subpar port). I can't wait to buy a Vita, but with little football and no hockey, for me it makes no sense to give up my PSP yet.

Baseball has a diiferent agreement. Sony, MS and 2K can make baseball games. Basically if you make a console you can make an MLB game along with 2K
Nfl Football is exclusive to EA. Dont you think we'd have seen NFL Gameday by now if Sony could make an NFL game

Ea's NFL license is completely exclusive including first party, it's different from the one MLB has with 2K. Literally nobody but them can make an officially licensed NFL game on the consoles/handelds. I think there's a way to put one on a Mobile phone but I don't remember the details.

Uncharted Golden Abyss Patch 1.02 Released:

Today Bend studios came out with the new patch (patch 1.02) for Uncharted Golden Abyss. The patch brings a number of improvements :-

1. Black-market transaction frequency increases (this would help us get those pesky bounty sets)
2. Changes in the Black Market Menu
3. Adjusted difficulty for 'Crushing' mode (It is a bit easier now in comparison)
4. Statistics are not reset (thank GOD)
5. Network connection is not interrupted during the game
6. Improved Trophy verification

Anyway picked up unit 13 recently, and u like it a lot, I'm hoping the vita's COD is going to be a great first effort, think I will be picking up MK soon too. Still have to beat uncharted.

So I just saw the trailer for Lego Batman 2. You get to play as all of the DC superheroes. Found my next must have Vita game!
