Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
EA promising the same game and experience for NFS Most Wanted on Vita:
The only negative I saw in this article was no cross-play. In other words, our Vita times can't compete with our friends playing on PS3. Still though, if cross-buy isn't an option, I may go Vita instead of PS3 for this...Last edited by DickDalewood; 08-15-2012, 05:04 PM.Comment

I've been playing FIFA quite a bit lately, and despite the fact that I stink (play on Pro and seem to lose by 1 or play to a draw), the game is very smooth. The only choppiness is during the team introductions, but that can be skipped over, and even then, only lasts a few seconds. Once the game starts, it's great. The menus in Manager Mode aren't very fast, but they work well enough to where I don't think they are a bother.YNWAComment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Yeah, if only work and spending time with the wife didn't get in the way. I usually try and get a game in after she goes to bed, and lately, it's been my Palermo manager mode in FIFA, as those games don't take as long as MLB.Currently Playing:

Since I just got my vita I'm waiting for FIFA 13. They confirmed it has the new stuff in consoles last year. Honestly its probably the vita game I'm most excited for

Sony engineers working on PS Vita "cost reduction" for post-2012 price cut
The PlayStation Vita has not exactly had a gangbusters launch since it first debuted. It's been selling decently, but not to the numbers Sony was hoping.
So they're reengineering it to keep all the features gamers love about the handheld, but at a lower price.
Don't expect that price cut to come this year, however. Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida had this to say about the situation:
"Of course, cost reduction is one area our engineering team is working on. But we just launched the platform earlier this year. It takes time to do so."
Nonetheless, the price reduction is coming. Sony finds itself in a similar situation to Nintendo, which was forced to lower the price of the 3DS in order to stimulate sales. The Vita is certainly a compelling piece of hardware, but at $300, it finds itself simply priced out of many gamer's hands.
But considering Sony's aggressive software push for the platform and its Cross-Buy initiative, we don't think they're going to give up any time soon.Comment
