It helps that I toned down to timing hitting. I'm loving this game again. The other htting options are just too hard for me for some reason.

I couldn't imagine trying to hit using Analog on the Vita. I think Blzer does, which is pretty amazing to me.

Even Zone is tricky because the sticks, while a definite upgrade over the PSP, are still ultra sensitive.

I use Timing hitting, Classic pitching and Auto Fielding/Manual Throw (buttons).

And yeah, the reason I bought a Vita was to get through an actual season playing every game. I got distracted with other games and obviously, work gets in the way, but I'm starting to finally pick up steam in my Mets franchise, as I'm 34 games in. I'm going to drop my Rockies franchise and just focus on NY and see how far I can go.

You know DJ, I think that's exactly it. They're far too sensitive. I can hit fine on the PS3 with Zone. But on the Vita, my BA drops dramatically. And I think you pinpointed why.

Now I just have to figure out how to keep my settings from changing when I go to the PS3 when I cloud save. A minor annoyance, but I remember reading it was possible.

I hit using Zone, and pitch with Analog. It's a rough go, but acceptable. Certainly feels good when you hit a home run, I'll tell you that.

              Haha never!

And I've already played well over 200 games on the Vita version. I feel good with it.

I saw Flawless post this and didn't want anybody to miss it!

The Vita version is coming to PS3.

Hot Shots Golf 6 Announced for PS3

Sony will be releasing the PlayStation Vita version of Hot Shots Golf on PlayStation 3. Under Japanese naming, the PS3 version will go by the same name as the Vita version, Minna no Golf 6.

As detailed in this week's Famitsu, the PS3 version will support Move, and will be playable with the Vita version via cross play. Download content that was released for the Vita version will be included from the start. The PS3 version will also add two new modes.

Look for Minna no Golf 6 on November 22.

                More Details

The PS3 version will support 1080p -- a first for the series -- and will allow for Move-based swinging.

The PS3 version will have the following download content from the Vita version: Erica, Gloria (with cosplay items), Mt. Sakura Country Club and Mar Cielo Golf Course.

As detailed earlier, the PS3 version adds two new modes: Slot Mode and Everyone's Short Course. In Slot Mode, you spin a roulette which determines the rules. Everyone's Short Course gives you courses comprised entirely of short holes.

Other new features for the PS3 include adjusted difficulty and new tournaments to the challenge mode. Online play on the PS3 supports four players.

PS3 and Vita owners can compete via Cross Play, which works with the game's lobbies, tournaments, ranking and daily national tournament modes.

I should have known...I never beat Flawless to reporting anything.

This should catch a few Vita owners eyes, btw:

Said DLC has not been brought stateside yet, but it's coming.

And I'll be very interested to know what online tournament improvements they're bringing - I think axing the G4 rank and dropping down to 4 tiers would be a good start - there aren't enough players to start a tournament in that rank, and thus extremely difficult to get promoted again.

They're gonna get me to buy this damn game again if they improve online...

Ok, how exactly is "Easy Mode" unlocked and where would you find it?

Having some issues with one of the Bronze Levels.

Try pressing square in the challenge selection menu.

I know it unlocks with 3 losses (meaning, not getting a star) on one course. It might unlock with three losses total, though - not sure.

                          Thanks!

I actually managed to win on my third attempt.

Another question, is there a way to upload the videos that were recorded during gameplay?

Aside from external recording equipment, no...

But the Vita does pretty well with off-camera shots. I actually sent this in for the top 10 but it didn't make it :

So...I think I finally convinced my wife on me buying a Vita....with the new madden bundle that pretty much brings the system purchase to 210 (WiFi), is it still worth it? I keep hearing the Vita slow sales and with no NBA this year, I am a little concerned with lack of games for my desire.
