Mostly on the couch while the wife watches TV. I also take it with me when I travel, so planes and hotel rooms also get use. I'm also going to start taking it with me to work and playing on my lunch break.

        Vacation/time away from home.

I played it a lot at work when I first got it but we're down a super so I don't have time anymore.

Now it's here and there at night and whenever we take a weekend away or vacation.

Maybe they won't announce a price cut along with the PS4 after all, they've revised sales down to 7 million. May of last year that mark was 16m units, it had been revised down to 10m before this week.

The platform holder forecast 16 million portable console sales in May 2012, which was reduced to 12 million in August and revised to ten million units in November. Vita and PSP are now expected to sell a combined total of seven million units before March 31st.

Revenue generated by the PlayStation business during the final three months of 2012 came in at 268.5 billion yen, a 15 per cent year-on-year decline. Sony attributed this to softer demand for PS3 and PSP hardware and software. The PlayStation sector’s operating income also fell year-on-year from 34 billion yen to 4.6 billion yen.

Sony sold 62 million console games in the three months up to December 31st 2012, and combined PS3 and PS2 hardware sales came in at 6.8 million units, down from 7.4 million a year earlier. Total Vita and PSP hardware sales were up from 2.4 million units to 2.7 million, but software sales on PSP and Vita fell from 11.4 million units the previous year to 8.9 million.

Crap, this runs the risk of getting into a catch-22. The Vita needs new and better games to sell units and survive, but these dwindling sales numbers are not going to make game developers/publishers put money into Vita games. Again, this is where Sony has to step in and make it happen. And, having seen Sony's efforts so far, I have genuine concern.

Soul Sacrifice: Tough Choices, Colossal Bosses

Soul Sacrifice is, as its name suggests, a game that asks the player to make an ultimate decision. It happens every time you defeat an enemy, actually — a choice to either save the enemy’s soul, or sacrifice it for your own gain. How you customize your character in this regard is crucial, since you’re going to go up against some very large enemies. That scale, and the importance of making the player truly feel it, is at the heart of this piece from composer Wataru Hokoyama:
                      <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/k_Ve8OxUPLg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Because there are gigantic, powerful enemies, it’s important to build your character’s stats and levels. Your decision of saving or sacrificing will affect what type of character you want to build.
When you defeat an enemy, it will be in critical condition. You can approach it and decide to either Save it or Sacrifice it, each with differing consequences. You can perform both actions by approaching an ally
                      in critical condition as well.

If you decide to Save, you will share a portion of your health with the enemy or ally in order to help them recover. If you choose to Sacrifice, you will gain access to a powerful spell.

Saving will recover a bit of health and increase your Life LV gauge. Once the gauge is full, your Life LV will increase boosting your defense. Also the health gained from healing magic, and the amount of health
                      recovered when Saving will increase.

Sacrificing will slightly rejuvenate the number of times you can use an Offering and increase your Magic LV gauge. Once the gauge is full, your Magic LV will increase, boosting your attacks. Also the amount of recovering an Offering when Sacrificing an enemy will increase.

We know fans are eager for in-game footage of the content above, and of the many other exciting features Soul Sacrifice has to offer. Keep checking the blog; there’s plenty more to come! Soul Sacrifice for PlayStation Vita comes to North America on April 30th!

You know, there is a shot type where you like "tilt up/down" your controller with perfect impact for some Super Power Shot or something. I've tried that, but I literally have no idea what they mean and don't know how to do it.

Have you been able to do that kind of shot yet?

Have you also done every pin shot type? (rising shot, etc)

I think that's right, as I've heard that before.

I am TERRIBLE at these type of shots in HSG; I just wind up using normal shots and try and make my way around the course that way. Luckily, I am pretty good at putting.
