Yes, you get the entire PS4 UI streamed to the Vita.

          PS Vita 3.01 Update released

Following the very hefty 3.00 update for the PlayStation Vita that brought along the PS4 Link App and a whole bunch of different changes and improvements, system software update 3.01 has now become available.

Unlike the previous update, there isn’t much associated with this one, as you can see in the singular patch note below:

-System software stability during use of some features has been improved.

Maybe a stupid question....But what does "improved stability" mean when they use it as sole purpose for a patch or update?

What it probably means is that there are a lot of small tweaks not worth listing in patch notes. It could be as simple as updated wifi drivers, could be as specific as a specific application bugfix.

Since the PS3, PS4, and Vita all got a patch to "improve stability" around the same time as they did some PSN maintenance, I'd say it has something to do with the PSN handshake and improving that connection, but that's just a guess.

                Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

Got my 32gb memory card in the mail yesterday. Transferred all of my data from my 8gb over and it was a very simple process, although it take a while to copy the data from my Vita to PS3 and back.

Now, I've got to find some games I want to buy for digital download. I'm looking at Sound Shapes, Guacamelee! and there's a few PSP games on my radar as well. Some of the prices for the Vita games are a little of whack, especially when you can find physical copies for $10-20 cheaper, so that is a little discouraging.

I bought this system for 1 reason: to practice Marvel vs Capcom 3 combos while I'm on the train and waiting in lines.

It's perfect for that. Since getting it, though, a lot of nice features have surprised me. Youtube vids look insane on it. the NBA.com app is excellent for highlights. I'm picking up online league pass soon so we'll see how the games look, but if it's anything like the rest of the video it'll probably be my favorite way to watch. The screen and fidelity of the streams are too crispy. The gaming library is excellent as well. Lots of great old school games and it's probably the best portable ever for fighting games with premium versions of DOA, Marvel, Injustice and Guilty Gear.

Blazblue: CS Extend too - it was actually a Vita launch title, or at least in the launch window.

I'm curious though - how does it let you practice the fighting games? The muscle memory is so different on a controller as opposed to a fightstick (which is what you use IIRC). I guess it would be good for finding the timing if nothing else.

BTW, the last Vita firmware update appears to have enabled Final Fantasy V to work on it, meaning 3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9 all play on the portable now.

$3.75? Man, that's a steal. I played the demo recently and really enjoyed it, so I'll have to purchase this tonight when I get home from work.

DJ, Sound Shapes is just okay. Probably not worth $12 and I never got the damn cross-save to work. Heck, I'm not even done with the game. Want to dig more into the content creator though or download some work from others.
