Got my Vita the first week it was released, so I will be looking forward to getting an email sometime next year.

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I had previously experienced a ton of issues with remote play while connecting to Vita/PS4 vs. via the internet. I would consistently get random signal degradation notifications and noticeable lag.
I usually lay down the PS4 on my office desk. Coincidentally, the other day I stood it up and I immediately noticed that remote play had drastically improved. I'm assuming it had something to do with the Wi-Fi antenna being better positioned."The older I get, the faster I was!"

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Haven't tried Remote Play since Saturday, but it worked fine for me then. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I see...
Hmmm.. For some reason I've been experiencing audio sync issues after about 15 minutes or so of remote play. I'm forced to restart the Remote Play session in order to get it working properly."The older I get, the faster I was!"

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
You're probably talking about the same thing, but I've noticed this for at least two weeks. At first I thought it was just GTA V doing it, but I noticed it happening on the home screen as well.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Looks like the latest update triggered the sound/audio issues.

I use remote play as my main way of playing the PS4 in order to keep my TV open for my family. I've used direct connect and wi-fi in-house since April without problem until PS4 firmware 2.0 (now 2.0.2), Vita firmware 3.35.
On the most recent firmware, my remote play connects fine, but the audio drifts/desyncs over time. It's synced when I connect, but after about 45 minutes, the audio is 1-2 seconds behind the video. I can restart remote play and it will sync up, only to drift again over time. This happens in-hosue, 5 feet away from my router (latest Airport Extreme) with direct connect turned off, on both COD:AW and AC:U. My wifi connection (S/N, latency) is excellent.
I've tried all the usual support stuff (rebuild DB, etc.). Has anyone else encountered this? Any advice? Thanks!"The older I get, the faster I was!"

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Yeah, I've been playing it a ton across the the three platforms I own it on (PS4, Vita, and PC). It plays very well on the Vita, and you can bet I'll really be playing it over the Xmas break while I'm away from my PS4 and PC.Comment

Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Need some advice from you PS4 people who do remote play on their Vita - I am a 360 guy with a Vita (yeah, there are a few of us). I am thinking about getting a PS4, pretty much just to play NHL and GTA (and an updated Madden) on my Vita through remote play (and The Show with cross play). I just want to make sure these games work for remote play (as a practical matter). Or does it depend on your wifi connection entirely? Thanks for any advice!Comment
