Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
I feel Vita games are getting unfair reviews. Just look at the scores for The Show. It's MUCH better than what the reviewers gave it. Street Fighter x Tekken is freaking awesome and it only scored an 80 on Metacritic. The new Need for Speed game is the best handheld racer I've played. I'm not sure why so many people want to bash the Vita. My only complaint is the expensive memory cards.
My Vita amazes me every time I turn it on. I hope it does well and Sony ramps up support because it's my primary gaming platform due to my wife not wanting the television being tied up with games. Now I can play games while she watches chickity women mess on tv and drones on about her day!Comment

Vita Madden is FOR SURE the best version available. Even the presentation is better when you throw in the real life replay angles vs. that up close crap they added to Madden 13.
I hope the Vita dev team keeps moving forward with what they have. I even prefer the older franchise mode over CCM right now. Just an all around solid effort.
Would love an NCAA version of Madden on Vita. So impressed with what EA did with Madden for the Vita.Texas A&M Aggies

The one thing about the Vita that bugs me is the fact I can't play my PSP games on it.

The one thing for me is I wish it rumbled. I know it kills battery but I'd Love a rumble feature in a Sony handheld.Originally posted by Anthony BourdainThe celebrity chef culture is a remarkable and admittedly annoying phenomenon. Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion
Yep, that's still keeping me from switching over to the Vita from my PSP. On the PSP, I can swap between Madden (on which, I might add, I can save in-game - a feature missing from the Vita), NCAA football, NHL hockey, The Show, GTA, Burnout, and a bunch of other games. The only Vita titles that even interest me are Uncharted, Madden and NFS. At the price level of the Vita (and the ridiculous prices for the memory cards), Sony can keep it. Every incentive Sony gives for the Vita seems to be something related to the PS3. That's great, except I am not a PS3 owner. I am betting most Vita owners are also PS3 owners? I swear, Sony has made business decisions with the Vita that are so bad the likes of which haven't been seen since USFL owners started listening to Donald Trump.Comment

Most people who bought the handheld knew that it was similar to a PS3, and that's what enticed them to get it. What enticed me? I can play The Show on it and transfer my franchise from one to the other hassle-free. What makes me still love it? The fact that everything I use on PS3 is starting to find its way over to Vita, slowly but surely. They still have a long way to go, and I'm not complaining about paying $100 for a 32GB memory card after I've already bought it, but this thing should be made for those with a PS3, IMO. It only makes sense.
They have to keep continuing on that path more strongly. Fully functional remote play would be a start. Using the Vita as a compatible controller for PS3 games (similar to the WiiU, and they're going to have it for LBP2) would also be swell. And of course, MLB.TV would be another great addition.
NOTE: Keep in mind I am not a fan of handhelds. I've never owned one in my life prior to the Vita, and I wouldn't be caught dead owning a PSP. This one is just different, though... it just is. A PS3 in my hands (figuratively speaking) is an awesome exception.Last edited by Blzer; 11-18-2012, 12:30 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
