I brought a pair a couple of weeks ago. I love them. I know a some don't really like it, but I really like the bass rumble vibration.

I've been considering getting a back-up pair because these are so cheap right now. Has anyone tried those Call of Duty: Black Ops II Kilo Turtle Beaches? They're the wired ones that are $39.99.

Anyone recommend a PS3 headset for $100 or less? I want to get a good one, but I'm worried they won't work with PS4.

Anyone try this headset? - Prismatic Wireless Headset? Looks to have solid reviews on BestBuy.com. It works for 360 and PS3 and is only $99. but being a Gamers Unclocked member you get $20 off.

I am going to get the Pulse Elite for Father's Day, main issue I have read is battery life.

The only two negatives I have found are battery life and the padding on the top band is inadequate. During extended gaming sessions I have to move where the top band is resting on my head every once in a while because it starts to get uncomfortable. I think I'm going to order this from Amazon to see if it helps: http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Le...A/ref=pd_ybh_1

The battery life issue doesn't affect me much because I keep a power cable plugged in next to my couch, so a good amount of the time I use them while they are plugged in. Seems like it can go ~4-5 hours between charges, which isn't great but like I said because of my setup it doesn't bother me.

I love everything else about the set. Audio quality is great, bass levels are outstanding, earcups are very comfortable and block out quite a bit of other noise in the background.

Of all the headphones I've used, I've never had one be uncomfortable to the top of my head at all. Maybe it's a head shape thing.

Could very well be. I have read a couple of other reviews from people online regarding the top band of the Pulse Elite being a bit uncomfortable, but it could just be us giant-headed people doing the complaining.

I have a large noggin, but it's a fairly easy curve across the crown so I tend to have full pad contact with the band. For instance, I have these next to me and on my head the pad on the band makes full contact with the top of my head, where on this dummy head it only makes contact in just a few spots.

I am looking to get a new headset for my PS3 since my turtle beach px21`s have fell apart on me.

I am looking at these 2 sets from Sony. Is it worth the extra $50 for the pulse or just stick with the wireless headset for $70?

Having owned both, I would say that the Pulse Elite Headset is absolutely worth the extra $50.

I have the pulse elite ps3 headphones too. And I agree that the top band gets uncomfortable after awhile. I really like how all the controls are integrated into the headphone though.

What is really annoying and almost a deal breaker for me is the irritating noise alert noise the headphone makes when it runs out of battteries. I don't know WTF those engineers were thinking... You could be playing a game and all of a sudden this loud electronic beep goes off.

At E3 i saw some pretty kool headphones from EA sports. There was a coupon they were giving out for $50 off and a free gift. If I can find the coupon code I'll post it up and share with you guys.

I have to sell my headset since I've been unable to get a job since going back to school, and I thought I was going to get a pair of Z2s (on sale for under $20) but they don't have a USB plug. Anyone know of a pair of headphones under $20 that don't hurt the ears?
