I'm addicted to fire emblem but I've learned so much in 10 hours playtime I kind of want to start over. I may never get to Zelda at this rate.

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

I'm going to pick up A Link Between Worlds this afternoon along with Mario Golf. I should be set for a while with 3D Land and Triple Deluxe. Thanks for the recommendations.

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

Picked up Zelda A Link Between Worlds, Luigi's Mansion (had it once but never beat it) and Mario and Luigis Dream Team.

As far as Fantasy Life. Played a little over an hour and a half.
Seems like there's a lot in it.

 Beginning of game screen shot...
 Spoiler

There are 12 classes you can pick from to starty the game BUT I believe you can then go and get a license to do a different one later. I started out as a wizard.
Currently level 2 as I leveled up after picture:
 Spoiler

Map is pretty big and area unlock as you do quests etc...

The hour or so was basically the prologue/tutorial

Fighting is a basic hit A to attack and selecting which magic to use with the D-pad. It's real time fighting also. You get others in your party but don't directly control them it seems. Just a basic fighting system so far but this game is more about living a life than a full blown fighting RPG.

You earn money (called Dosh) by finding it selling stuff etc.
You also obtain "Bliss" by doing certain quests and the Bliss is used (Only thing I've seen so far) to get a present/perk like a bigger bag to carry items or bigger storage in your house. Maybe can also upgrade those buy buying but haven't got that far yet.

I learned you can save your money to buy bigger house also. Haven't done any crafting yet and not sure if I need a different "life" to do such as a woodcutter etc... but can't wait to find out.

I almost started out as an Angler and go a "normal" life but since I can also go that route later I decided on Wizard lol

That's really all I can say so far. Looks like lots of exploring and life stuff like furnishing your house (Furniture, decor etc..)

Has MP also so you can visit others worlds , exchange items etc..

So far I'd say it's a Animal Crossing game on steroids... with MP if you want it.

When I can I'm hoping to go the route of a crafter (Blacksmith or Carpenter ) )

Anyways it is a fun time so far. Hasn't become overwhelming yet.
Only real negative I've seen mentioned each time is some of the life jobs are the same execution ..(tapping A to cut fish is same as chopping wood or something like that)

 Slowly becoming HP lol

Even if i was tempted enough by a New 3DS I'm not sure if I would want to have to deal with transferring between systems again. Nintendo needs to modernize and make this easy like other companies.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

 This

I have a bunch of questions about transferring

Like ince Monster Hunter is pre installed will it delete that game?

Or if I start it up and don't transfer right away will that matter in anyway?Comment

 Re: Nintendo 3DS

Only took me about 45 minutes.
An no you won't lose pre-installed games.

It transfers everything at once (Saves, Data and licenses)...
No different IMO than having to backup all your stuff and transfer to new HD etc...

Going to pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles 3D this week also.Last edited by Skyboxer; 02-23-2015, 04:21 PM.Joshua:

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

The more I see videos of 3D Land, the more it reminds me exactly of 3D world on the Wii U. Maybe I'll hold off on playing that and devote my time to Zelda ALBW, Mario Golf, and Kirby.

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

It pretty much is but IMO a good buy.

 More on Fantasy Life:
Can have 30 quests at a time.. I currently have 8. Going out to find some big egg..
A couple I'm not sure if I can do or not (Catch certain fish) with my current life.. might have to do that when I add the Angler lifestyle.
Also really like the music in the game. Depending on where you are etc.. it changes etc..Joshua:

 Re: Nintendo 3DS Announced

Is there more action/fighting to do vs. Animal Crossing? I know nothing about Fantasy Life....I enjoy AC, but some action would be a bit more fun and meaty i bet.It pretty much is but IMO a good buy.
