Re: Nintendo 3DS
Man, this 3DS library is a bit overwhelming. So many good games (which is why I bought the system), but I don't want to buy them all at once. I would like to add one more game before the end of the year, any suggestions?
I'm thinking either:
New Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario 3D Land
Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon
Mario & Luigi Dream Team
Animal CrossingCurrently Playing:

Of those I got the most play and enjoyment out of Animal Crossing. Can't go wrong with it. I have it as a digital download and is nice to always have on the system.Comment

Mario Kart 7 is also a great game. I've heard good things about resident evil: revelations

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Yeah, just spent three hours playing A Link Between Worlds. Absolutely amazing and am so glad I purchased the bundle. Graphics are impressive for the 3DS (I have the 3D slider at the lowest setting), the music is outstanding and I always like the interjection of humor in the story.
Nintendo is still king when it comes to first-party games.Currently Playing:

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Did some shopping at GameStop today. Spent a total of $43 (had some trades and a coupon) and picked up:
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (used)
Animal Crossing New Leaf (used)
Fire Emblem Awakening (used - got for free with the Buy 2, Get 1 free used game promo)
Shin Megami Tensei IV (new)
No used copies of Luigi's Mansion, Mario & Luigi or 3D Land in at the store I was at. Passed on Mario Kart 7 for now, but will get it at some point.Currently Playing:

Re: Nintendo 3DS
Got the Pegasus boots as soon as they became available in my second playthrough - was quite the facepalm moment when I realized how easy they were to get.
Have to say the L button isn't the best place to map that when you're used to it being A...Last edited by bcruise; 12-02-2013, 03:01 PM.Comment

Bravely Default Developers Deeply Moved By Anticipation From West
...Bravely Default: For the Sequel, an updated version of Bravely Default: Flying Fairy recently released in Europe, is receiving stellar reviews from game critics, which appears to have taken its developers by surprise.
In reaction to the review scores the game has been seeing in Europe, the Bravely Default Twitter account tweeted: “Bravely Default is a game that was designed only taking RPG fans in Japan into consideration. We thought overseas expansion was impossible. Seeing this much anticipation moves me deeply.”
While Bravely Default may be targeted at the RPG fanbase in Japan, the improvements introduced in For the Sequel are the kind that would be appreciated by any fan of role-playing games. The game allows one to adjust its random encounter rate, adds more animation to the characters, adds more story events, and also features enhancements to its battle system that help the player get past harder portions of the game.
A number of these features were inspired by fan feedback, while others were inspired by features that are being included in the next Bravely Default game, which is presently in development.

Who would have thought a JRPG that embraces the traditional JRPG philosophy while offering streamlining options to certain things and adding a few twists of its own would be received well critically and be anticipated?
SE appears to be so out of touch with their western audience. They should worry about making good games first and foremost, and less about appealing to a specific region or abroad. Also, it's probably time to have more reasonable expectations and budgets, in which they could learn a lot from the likes of ATLUS.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Nintendo 3DS
I fell off a little in November but I did catch up and do all the Harvest Festival stuff. I was able to get all the harvest furniture and all put one piece of the mush furniture set. Winter is always fun in this series, looking forward to the snow. I'm pretty close to completing my museum too. I have a couple duplicate art pieces if you need them. I have an extra motherly statue, scary painting, and one other than I can't recall right now.
