Anyways, I just purchased MLB 10: The Show for PS2 and am waiting on it to come in the mail. I figured while I was waiting I would get my online set up (never done it before) so that I could download the latest roster update. Well after a whole lot of trouble, I got my account/network configuration set up but then I ran into another problem. I used NCAA 10 Football to do the set up. When I go to my account to try and connect: It says connecting to network, then the DNAS screen comes up, and then it says connecting to EA server. Well, after 20 seconds or so it says "unable to connect to server at this time. Please try again later or check connection" and what not. My connection is good I figure because it let me get everything set up. I tried disconnecting my modem like the PS support line recommened- still doing the same thing. I also bypassed my router and hooked my ethernet cable directly into the modem but that didn't help either.
If anyone could tell me what to do I would really appreciate it. Please put it in layman's terms if possible. I'm fairly intelligent, just ignorant when it comes to this stuff lol. I called the guy at Gamestop and he said just give it time that the servers were down, but it has been hours.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and for offering any suggestions.
Brian
