Do you need internet to run xbox live or does it run through the xbox? cause i don't have wireless but want roster updates and games online!!!!

Yes you do need internet to access the internet on your xbox.
Don't need wireless, you can just plug in your cable in the back.
Don't need Live to access the 2Kshare.
When you create an account you usually get 1 month free.
But you still get access even after your free month expires, as long as you have your wire plugged in.

You're quite confusing...

You obviously need internet to d/l the rosters & everything else.
How else do you expect to connect to the 2K share/severs.
You don't need a gold membership, but you do need some sort of internet.

You're using the internet right now to view/post on this forum, just use the same wire, or connect thru a hub/spiltter/router.

I hope I made things clear for you, I don't think I can be any clearer.

I hope the OP/2k11rules doesn't use dial up.
