Possibly hundreds of thousands. Well in Asia/America at least. But I would want some Online multiplayer. Pokemon battle online, go to the ranks a see who's the best. I would love it...

Sadly, one that wont come out is 2k14 ...

I am really thinking at this console being the 2nd one, just like the Wii was for me on this generation or like the cpu used to be prior it ...

Anyways, looking forward to the next Direct, june 11 cant come soon enough !

When Nintendo is forced into the software market, then we may get some quality console Pokemon games. But knowing nintendo they will still find a way to keep it stuck on handhelds.

Theyve been sitting on their asses on the Pokemon MMO concept. Release that on WiiU and win the world.

Anyone seen the trailer or am I early? I'm seriously using this trailer to decide what console to get/what to do in video games. If we learned something from SSBB, Nintendo knows how to use the entire power of the system to make it look pretty.

I think they're announcing stuff throughout the event. I wouldn't give up hope yet...though, they are Nintendo and logic isn't their strong suit lately.

I have no idea what Nintendo is doing. Their system is $50 less than the ps4 and their major titles aren't coming out until next year. It's almost like they want the Wii U to die.

I think the 3D Mario with 4 players will be a big hit. That's December. Donkey Kong is November. Mario Kart isn't until next spring but that's three good hits plus Super Smash and Zelda.

What happened to Yoshi for the Wii U though? Is that game cancelled? It was supposed to be like Kirby's Epic Yarn.

Got to say that I loved all games that were shown on the Nintendo Direct ... granted, few new IPs, but all the well known franchises gave me some sence of freshness ... if only I had a job or win the lottery, I for certaint buy one WiiU to go along with my intended purchase of a PS4.

In respect of a price adjust, I believe they gain nothing by doing this now, it would cause a better outcome if done very near the other next gen consoles launch ... I have the feeling that Nintendo will capitalize MS awfull choices and stablish their console as the 2nd most prolific one ... specially if they get even more great games to come out early next year.

Nintendo is selling at an historically awful place right now, they aren't in position to take over hypothetical second place to other consoles that aren't out yet. They desperately need games and their biggest ones aren't coming out for awhile. The Wii U isn't even selling well in Japan.

Yeah, settling for second place when you're the first one out of the gate is baffling.

I've settled on Nintendo this cycle (3DS and WiiU) due to me not gaming as much as in the past, and more family things with a soon to be 5 year old, but this is frustrating with little to no 3rd party options. No 2k14, no Madden,no Tiger. no Fifa, etc. Grrrrr....

There's only so much Mario I can take, and it seems like all the old franchises I am looking forward to are on the 3DS.

Sorry, just kind of frustrated with their direction and leadership at the moment, and am not in the position to shell out for another console at this time. Releasing a console in Holiday 2012 only to have to wait until Spring 2014 for the big hitter titles to release is just a slap in the face to your early adopters.

I was planning on purchasing a WiiU in the near future but with the lack of titles currently or forth-coming, I'm going to hold off for awhile.
