I wasn't playing zombies at all, and no one was on when I got on (I ended up getting on later than I wanted).



2k13 feels like a 2k hoops game to me. I don't get all bent out of shape by shoes and cloth physics...I just want it to play a solid game of basketball, and it does that, and I'm happy. Haven't spent a ton of time with it, but I look forward to spending a bit more with it this weekend.

to much talking about this system being underpowered when nobody but the insiders know the specs... we know the cpu could have been better its an ooo cpu witch means it will do things better than the two hd twins but somethings worst,,it has 2 gigs of rams slower but very low latency witch will help with the small BW,,,it has a modern gpgpu which will do all the grunt work...think of it as the ps3 in reverse..strong gpu/weaker cpu...

I'll be getting mine monday. I'm looking for games to pick up with the console, and thought I'd come here for suggestions. So far, I have a couple in mind:

007 Legends*
New Super Mario Bros
Nintendo Land (which I believe will come with the console for me)
ZombiU
Trine ll*

Any other suggestions? I'm not quite as high on ZombiU after the reviews came out, but I can't help but think its the kind of game that would be right up my alley. Thanks!

I dont know anything about madden playbook stuff because I dont play it but you know good and well that comment you just made out of frustration was bull, and trying to insinuate trolling here is as well

This sytem is no more special than any other including the wii. You're assuming everyone knows everything when thats completely false. Everybody doesnt rush out and just buy stuff on a whim because its new, especially when trying to avoid past mistakes

Remember I just responded to a comment you made about the PS3 and Vita and to be honest this system is nowhere near the PS3 and you inappropriately tried to tie something in that wasn't so.

I think most people are sitting here reading comments to see what the real deal is and probably haven't said much, for one its not really generating a huge response like the wii, and two launch systems seem to always get the stepchild treatment which is another thing people are watching for

Nintendo makes systems fun. That's what the wii u is. Its a blast with family and I have ps3 Xbox and gaming PC. Right now since the wii u. Haven't touched any. The gamepad does make it special at least to me because I can play the games on the gamepad while my wife watches her shows or she can while I'm watching football. The gamepad graphics are same as TV and match every bit of the ps3 and Xbox and IMO call of duty has some sharper textures then both. It might not be special to you but to the ones that see the system for what it is. It is special. Nintendo will always be this way. They do not compete with Microsoft and Sony. You should know that.

Let's all be honest with ourselves here... There are people in this thread being overly positive, and people in this thread being overly negative. They all know who they are, and every person in here has been guilty of being on either side of that fence at some point in their lives.

There is zero reason we can't have a discussion about both the good and the bad without it turning into a multiple page argument though; the last I checked, everyone posting is an adult.

I'm not a moderator, but how about we all just give our impressions one way or another and move on? It certainly doesn't help when moderators are arguing with posters, and posters are arguing with posters, etc.

This site will never generate huge WiiU buzz, just like it didn't generate Wii buzz, because its not that type of crowd. The system is fine, it will do just fine on the shelves, and those that don't like it probably never will, and those that love it probably always will. For people in the middle though, they should be able to hop in this thread and find out the details, good and bad, instead of having to read through page after page of an Internet d*** length contest.

Like I said, we're all guilty, but I think it's just time to suck up our pride, agree to disagree, and be done with it.

well dickdalewood i'm having a blast...zombi u is a very good game nintendoland is a joy,,,,,blops2 is fun as we all who like it know... I have some issues mainly the lock ups...the battery life is a downer at times..miiverse is dam nice...i have not had this much fun since my snes,sega, hay days....as far as power goes to me mehhhh dont care...

Come on man i was never here to argue...i answered a question someone asked and they got frustrated about it.

Like i said when people on this site learn to stay on the discussion and off of other posters then discussions can stay what they are.

As a mod i will inform any poster that decides to tell others how they can and cannot post that he or she is overstepping their bounds as a member here

You can call it what you will..youve been a mod and you know the tos so lets not try being all extra pc about that.

Why won't they let you pick it up?

Not unusual to require an attempted delivery as fraud prevention. I've been in the same situation a number of times. Really frustrating when you're looking forward to something.
