NO ONE has said the WiiU is the end all be all system. NO ONE. We've pointed out issues and concerns and it's YOU that contuinues to want to over due the negatives.

The comparisons don't mean jack..AT ALL. What matters is how the system plays and there have been reviews and personal posts in here syaying the game plays fine.

This isn't a PS3 vs 360 vs WiiU thread yet you continue to try and derail the thread after every post.

And frankly the "I have interest in the system" is purely your way of trying to show no bias and give you some sort of pass when posting in here. Old tactics we've all seen and are used to seeing over the years.

Yes I am, I don't see your goal in this thread besides trolling. You have said how you feel but you keep rehashing and there is no need for it.

For the record I have CoD and it runs extremely smooth. I have not notice one instance of frame rate problems so I really don't understand why you continue to bring this point up of you don't even have the game yourself.

Anywho. Playing CoD on the gamepad is also an amazing experience I must add. Is anyone else having trouble getting used to the gamepad/controller? I keep hitting the wrong buttons!

When thinking about the Wii U the potential for this system is endless. It is certainly a heck or an experience playing around with this game pad. I am really liking that innovation.

Nintendo has revealed that 400,000 Wii U consoles were sold during the system’s first week on sale. In an interview with CNET, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime revealed the figure, also noting that 300,000 Wii consoles were sold in the same week.

Haven't gotten a case yet but did get the Rocketfish Invisishell



May end up getting the silicone one but so far the Rocketfish one is fine.

Thanks and ya I meant a protective case when in use, not a carrying case. I should have been more specific. Do you like the Invisishell?

Crazy to see that 300K Wii systems still sold this month, if the mini Wii rumors are true, I can see even more selling. I think one mistake Nintendo did here was not naming this console something different or just going with Wii 2. I am reading around that it has caused some confusion at stores as some people think that this is an add on for the Wii.

Remember, seeing a product sitting on the shelves does not mean its is not selling. If that was the case, I could say the same thing about iPads and iPhones not selling because I see them sitting in the cases.

Maybe Nintendo learned their lesson from the Wii. Constrained supply does not help at all. Make them available for people to purchase from the get go!

I'll add everyone else who has put IDs in this thread when I get home tonight.

Yeah, actually Nintendo has been resupplying stores very frequently since launch. Like I mention in the post above, there seems to be some consumer confusion on whether this is a new product or add-on. I think over the next few weeks that will get straightened out as word gets out about the new hardware.

Yeah, my Walmart here in town had the UDraw tablet for the Wii on Black Friday special for $10. How was it labeled on the pallet?

"Wii U Draw: $10"

Your comparison doesn't make sense. The two companies use different, but similar, business models.

When units are claimed as "sold" by Apple, they are sold directly to the consumer via pre-order. The Wii-U is sold through stores, where the numbers are then counted as sold whether or not they sit on a shelf.

You have to take this into account before you can make a claim like this. I understand your point but it doesn't apply in your example and I wanted to clear up the misinformation.

The other issue to is when I look at the Wii U vs. Wii sections in stores, they look like they are blended together. Some of these stores walls/shelf space are starting to look so crowded with all the systems currently out. I personally can't wait to see how Pikmin 3 turns out in HD, the first two games were awesome. I wouldn't be opposed if Nintendo would take the Sony route and release some of the Wii games in HD as part of collections.

yeak I do. I figured it wouldn't make my hands sweat as much as the other one. It snaps on easily and seems sturdy enough. Plus it dowsn't cover up the beauty lol

Confirmed So far according to this LIST

As long as Pikmin 3, Zelda etc.. show up I'll be a happy camper. Still excited to see what developers do with the gamepad functions.

Companies are so tricky these days with the way they parse their words and exchange "ship" numbers and "sold" numbers. The NPD report should be out soon and might be more accurate than what Reggie is saying.

Regardless, 400K is a good number, if legit.
