The custom routes is nice, thanks for the vid.

I started playing Madden strictly in coach mode and the play calling aspect looks awesome to me. I was thinking picking up the 32, but it looks like the the 8 gig will be plenty.

It'd be great if the wii u played Bluerays. Oh well... I can wait until the 720 comes out.

this will have to be a complementary console only. I see Nintendo having trouble feeding the 3ds and wiiu with quality first party games without droughts and the third party situation will be awful again. Next year looks pretty bad..

Which is why I bought it for Nintendo Games for the most part. I'd be surprised if anyone got it for 3rd party games. History against that.

Heck for the most part I'm done with 360 also. Going to start planning for the 720

I just hope Nintendo is waiting for E3 to announce 2013 stuff for some reason, which is dumb since two new console will blow anything away. They showed the wiiu off at two e3's and all they had at launch was another NSMB game and a minigame collection.

Pikmin 3 and wonderful 101 look like summer releases now, and lego city undercover still doesn't have a release date in Q1 for some reason. I could have waited a year and pretty much missed nothing.

True but I'm a victim of the early adoptor virus... wish I wasn't but what am I gonna do. I'm only really playing ZombiU, Nintendoland with daughters and Scribblenauts. I really want Rayman but it's a ways away also.

The new consoles coming have little bearing with Nintendo. They've never been direct competition to the big 2 or even tried to be. Which is why I feel it was quite amazing the Wii was the best selling console for as long as it was.
However IF someone is only looking to get 1 system then yeah they need to look anywhere besides WiiU unless all they care about in Nintendo games.

As long as Pikmin, Zelda, Paper Mario etc.. all come at some point I'll be happy.
Anyone who still thinks the WiiU is a system to compete with Sony or MS is crazy.
And I really hope they aren't thinking 3rd party in regards to WiiU.. lol

I just hope we see sooner rather than later what the 720 will release at priice wise. Looks like there will be 2 skus, one with BC and one without...
I'm really sick of all the multiple skus also...

Either way since it seems we will have 1 720 version with BC I can still grab up some of the better games (Farcry 3 and GTAV etc..) and know I'll still be able to play them next gen.

Played my buddy's Wii U tonight and I wasn't overly impressed. Yeah, the game pad is cool, but the framerate takes a huge drop off when on and the analog sticks feel funny. Great ideas by Nintendo though, which I can respect.

Played the FIFA demo and it was pretty fun. If I was into soccer I may have had to buy it. Had different options on how to shoot etc..
Sure the demo was on easy as I lost once 2-1 ans won once 2-0..

I'm buying an U for Nintendo games. The only games I'll even consider looking at are the one that use the pad like Madden.

I got the 360 for my serious gaming and the Wii U for just some fun times. I could care less about 3party games.

Yeah, I'm basically in the same boat with my ps3. Probably going to stick mostly with Nintendo titles and exclusives, and I'll check anything else out that plays well with the gamepad.

That reminds me, I need to tell the girlfriend to pick up Madden for me for Christmas.

Still kind of surprised to see the lack of support the Wii U is getting over the next year. I get it, but you think Nintendo would've tried to make a bigger impression before the real next gen consoles drop.

Definitely happy with the purchase though. Split it with the girlfriend, and she's playing it more than me now that she's getting into NSMB. Btw, she loves the gamepad. Nothing like playing NSMB and watching Real Housewives at the same time...

Hopefully I'm picking mine up this weekend. The store close to me only had the 8gig version and I want the black one.

ZombiU looks intense, NSMB is just AWESOME (played at my friends house) and really looking forward to Madden on the game pad.

Those are the first 3 games I'm getting.

This is one of many reasons why I'm interested in the U. Everywhere I look says, December, but I don't see an actual date.
