Check the vids a page or so back.
For madden its the play calling screen and can draw custom hot routes
Some gmnes it's the inventory screen which makes switching loadouts fast.
In Zombiu it switches to a scope when using sniper rifles, then at times its a radar screen etc..

Then there's the ability, if programmed in the game, to switch from playing on tv to playing on the gamepad screen.
Just hope developers keep adding unique ways to use it.

Thanks, what kind of graphics can we expect from this thing? Better than 360/PS3?

System update about 1/2 done. Hope done by halftime so I can try Madden lol

Excited for your impressions. I tried my luck at BBY and TRU and their sold out, so I'll def be waiting a while, which is fine. Hopefully you like Madden, as I love the gamepad idea with that.

Personally I don't know yet.

Excited for your impressions. I tried my luck at BBY and TRU and their sold out, so I'll def be waiting a while, which is fine. Hopefully you like Madden, as I love the gamepad idea with that.

I was looking at the ads today and my wife just shot me a look and then said 'Don't get any ideas.' I got a good laugh out of that. I plan on waiting until after the holidays before I buy one, but it is happening, even if my wife thinks I'm nuts.

I went an hour early to FYE thinking there would be a long line and they wouldn't have enough to fill pre orders. We were the only one there. Waiting for the pad controller to finish charging.

Just finished playing ZombieU and in my opinion the graphics are poor and the control is lackluster and un-responsive. I don't own a Wii U, I just played for a couple hours at a friends. It feels like it needed a few more months of development

Have you done the system update? Then after that you can go to the eShop and link your sysem to Nintendo club account if you have one so you can get the points.

IGN and twitter has agreed with that. Haven't seen really any positive reviews for it, explains the embargo.

OR wonder if I should take it back and grab COD or use towards the other wiimote I need..... ?? Decisions...

Finally found one! Tried 3 walmarts, a sam's club, and two targets.. the last target I checked had 1 deluxe left.

Nothing like getting all excited and then waiting around for a 5gb update...
