 Re: Wii U Discussion

Mario, ZombiU, Lego City and Scribblenauts.

I also recommend Trine 2 and The Cave downloadable games.

Just got The Cave last night and really enjoy it so far.Joshua:

Thanks for recommendations but I'm gonna have to hold off on getting a WiiU for a bit since my ps3 is starting to act up, so I'll have to buy a replacement ps3 before it craps out.

 Re: Wii U Discussion

I think the WiiU will be my next system, especially once the first-party games start rolling out. I haven't had my 360 or PS3 long enough to think about upgrading, plus I have a large backlog of games on both consoles to keep me busy.Currently Playing:

 Re: Wii U Discussion

While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the big 2 it is a fun system. I really can't wait for the Animal Crossing, Zelda, Pikmen and Paper Mario games.
I also really hope they bring out Luigi's Mansion to the WiiUJoshua:

 Re: Wii U Discussion

I love the system, and I love the controller. Unfortunately, once I beat Trine 2, NSMB, ZombiU, and played a bunch of Nintendo Land, I've used it a lot less.

Once the 1st party games start rolling out, I'll be much happier with it.Writer for Operation Sports

Anyone else use TVii? I really like the feature. More than I expected. The key is setting a lot of favorites. It does a really good job of letting me know when things I like are on or will be soon.Comment

 Re: Wii U Discussion

There will be some package consoles also I bet near the end of the year. They already have a ZombiU one.
I'm really having fun with Lego City. Just a fun, funny game. The Cave (like I mentioned earlier) is also a nice little puzzler.
Not mentioned a lot but the systems MiiVerse is really a nice thing to go to for a specific game and see player thoughts and pics etc..Joshua:

Sky, anything you would compare Lego City to? I might give that a shot. There will be some package consoles also I bet near the end of the year. They already have a ZombiU one.

 Re: Wii U Discussion

It's been called Lego GTA and I can see that a bit. Open world (large city) and you have lots to collect and a main story. Game is relatively easy but the humor and fun is what makes it.Joshua:

 Re: Wii U Discussion

I was hoping to hear more about future first party games - like when Yoshi's Yarn, Mario Kart, Zelda, etc are coming out. Seems like the 3DS got a lot of love. Unfortunately it might not be until next spring that the Wii U hits its stride with first party titles.Comment

 Re: Wii U Discussion

I've only seen the Yoshi yarn (Like the Kirby Yarn game I believe), The HD Remake of Wind Waker (yay!), game and Wario and Pikmen so far.
Can't wait for new ones to start popping up.Joshua:
