Haven't been able to put Splatoon or MK8 down since getting, especially local multiplayer. Cant wait to start playing online. I think it was said earlier, playing Nintendo does make you feel like a stress free kid again, and it does.

$6 for one character? cmon Nintendo..

Should be $6 for all 3.

$14 for all the DLC combined. Makese COD map packs look like a bargain. Oh well. They need that money.

It's odd, because the MK8 Track DLC were priced super fairly. I'm sure it has to do with licensing more than anything.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water confirmed for this Fall. Looking forward to it.

The Fatal Frame series lives again

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is comprised of three interconnected stories that converge to uncover the truth behind a recent string of tragic deaths in a forest marred by a history of suicides. As one of three people with the power of the Camera Obscura and the ability to see the shadows of those spirited away, you’ll explore the ruins of an eerie inn, a shrine filled with life-size dolls, and a lake full of dead priestesses. Each shadowy location is connected by a stream of water flowing throughout the mountain, and this once holy water is tied to the darkest mystery of all—the history of death and darkness on Mt. Hikami.

                Features:
                • Survive this horrifying new entry in the Fatal Frame series
                • Explore sinister locales like an underground cave for human sacrifices and a shrine for life-sized dolls
                • Use the Wii U GamePad controller as your Camera Obscura—your only defense against fatal ghosts
                • Mt. Hikami is coursing with inexplicably dangerous water; stay dry or die
                • Investigate and stay alive on the deadly Mt. Hikami

Almost missed this but there's an eShop sale until tomorrow morning.

Might pick up Captain Toad at that price since I doubt it will get lower any time soon. Was considering Fantasy Life for the 3DS too, but I'm not sure if that's a game I would enjoy. Looks somewhat repetitive.

Fantasy Life was my personal GotY last year. I put over 150 hours into it and there's still things I need to do in that game. There being 12 different jobs to playthrough keeps it interesting longer than you think.

I still need to finish Captain Toad.

Can anyone recommend a good way to protect the Wii U gamepad from drops? Is the NERF Armor pretty good?

My son and I have been playing Splatoon and unfortunately, I have to go out of town for a few weeks. He still wants to play the game, which requires 1P to use the gamepad for jumps, etc.. He's only 7 and gets excited to the point where he drops his controller sometimes (not often).

                          Any help is appreciated.

I had a Nerf protector for my DS Lite and it worked really well. I have no reason to believe the Gamepad version wouldn't be good as well.

I have the Nerf armor for the gamepad and I really enjoy it. It feels like a natural fit for the gamepad, and it has a nice soft absorption feel to it. Can't imagine my gamepad without it any longer.

I've had a clear plastic case/cover on mine since day 1.

The 1 review says a con is you have to take it off to charge but the one I have you do not have to do that. Sits perfectly fine on charger.
