eShop exclusive title Fast Racing Neo is coming this year. 16 tracks, 8 player online, 4 player local multiplayer.

Kerbal Space Program confirmed for Wii U
Because of these exclusive controls, the Wii U version of Kerbal Space Program is the only version to include unique features. “We feel we have the definitive version on Wii U because of our interface,” Nintendo's Damon Baker, senior marketing manager of publisher and developer relations, tells us. “You’ll be able to utilize the touchscreen and the GamePad in a number of different ways from actually building the spacecraft and navigating the spacecraft and even getting different perspectives. You’ll be able to fly the spacecraft from the cockpit utilizing the GamePad as a different viewpoint.”
While no release date has been given, Kerbal Space Program will release simultaneously on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U.
This is a great fit for the Gamepad, but one has to wonder how the physics simulation will be on consoles, considering ships with hundreds of parts can bring even the fastest desktop processors to their knees.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Eurogamer published this today. I'm all for some more Pikmin.
Pikmin 4 in development and "very close to completion"
Speaking during an interview held back in July, Nintendo's top designer revealed that work on a fourth major Pikmin game was well underway.
"It's actually very close to completion," Miyamoto said. "Pikmin teams are always working on the next one."
Nintendo then confirmed the news to Eurogamer in a separate statement:
"We can confirm that Pikmin 4 is in development but that is all we can confirm at present."
The last title in the garden strategy series, Pikmin 3, launched for Wii U back in 2013.
Miyamoto did not specify the platform that Pikmin 4 would launch on.
Nintendo's next platform, the mysterious NX console, is currently in development but is not due to be detailed until some point in 2016. There's no word yet on if it will also launch next year too.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Star Fox Zero delayed to Q1 2016
I made a big decision last week.
We have been developing Star Fox Zero for Wii U with the aim of releasing it this year. Although we felt that the development had been progressing well, we now believe that we will need a little more time to work on areas such as the unprecedented discovery that we want players to experience in the game by using two screens, and further polishing the level designs and perfecting the tone of the cut scenes. While we have already reached the stage where it would be technically possible to release the title in time for the year-end holiday season, we want to polish the game a bit more so that players will be able to more smoothly grasp the new style of play that we are proposing.
To the people looking forward to the launch of the game this holiday season, I am very sorry.
Star Fox Zero is going to bring new game play and experiences that take it far beyond the framework established by Star Fox 64. All the members of the development team are doing our best so that the final product will not betray your expectations. And the game will not be delayed for a very long time – we’re aiming to launch the game in Q1 2016. Please stay tuned for further announcements.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Probably needed a bigger delay than that. I want to be optimistic with Platinum being involved, but who really knows how much they are or how much design control they have. It would certainly help some if the art wasn't so bland. It's shockingly ugly for a Nintendo first party title, where their artists have shown countless times the ability to work within limited pallets.Last edited by Flawless; 09-18-2015, 02:46 AM.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

WSJ: Nintendo Begins Distributing Software Kit for New NX Platform
TOKYO— Nintendo Co. has begun distributing a software development kit for its new NX videogame platform, people familiar with the matter said, suggesting the company is on track to introduce the product as early as next year. The exact shape of the NX hardware isn’t yet clear. People familiar with the development plans said Nintendo would likely include both a console and at least one mobile unit that could either be used in conjunction with the console or taken on the road for separate use. They also said Nintendo would aim to put industry-leading chips in the NX devices, after criticism that the Wii U’s capabilities didn’t match those of competitors.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
If it's Nintendo I'll buy it. My curse. HOWEVER it will depend this time on release day games. etc..
I know I'll get it.. just when is the question.
On a side note I bought Yoshi's Woolly World.
Won't get to play until tomorrow though.Last edited by Skyboxer; 10-17-2015, 02:48 PM.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
I'll get it but the Wii U will be my last Day 1 console of any kind. I can wait for price drops, good bundles, and a ton of backlog games.Comment
