It's all about the multiplayer for this version of Mario Tennis. By tomorrow I'll have unlocked everything and seen everything there is to do in the single player modes. I don't get why the same developer (Camelot) can make a story mode on the Game Boy Color but not on the Wii U.



I guess Nintendo just made Camelot rush this out there for the holidays since Star Fox and Zelda got delayed.

Mario Tennis for the GBA was an incredibly deep game. Played very much like an RPG.

Looking into getting Xenoblade Chronicles X coming out on the 4th. Research shows that it takes up 23 GB of space on the hard drive. I only have 20 GB available. I really don't want to spend money for an external hard drive and am hoping the one I have on hand will work, an older model 2T Western Digital. I went ahead and ordered a cheap USB 3.0 Y Cable that is needed for hook up between the HD and Wii U. Hoping this setup will work, if not looks like I won't be getting this masterpiece.

You can use flash drives too. Can probably find a 32 or 64 pretty cheap. I think best buy has a black friday deal 64 for 19.99

Yeah I had initially considered that but upon doing some research I have read that they're not really recommended as they become unstable. Anyone here use them with consistent success?

You don't need to install every game to your Wii U like you do with the PS4 and Xbox One.

Just grab the disc version of Xenoblade and you'll be fine. It will play off the disc without needing to install.

The data pack you can download on the eShop reduces load times but isn't essential by any means.

I've only played the first cup so far but Fast Racing Neo is pretty awesome from its first impression. Definitely pick it up for $15 if you're a fan of futuristic racers like F-Zero.

I'm surprised this game doesn't cost more with how good it looks and how much content they packed in.

I wonder how many controllers I will have to buy this time around. Hopefully the 15 controllers I have for my wii u are still usable next time around.

Yeah, no. that has to just be patenting a concept. That wouldn't work mass-market, has to have physical buttons. A design like this would follow the Wii U trend of initial support falling away as more and more specialized development is required for the differentiated experience.

That or they'd have to ship it with a pro controller and just have the console able to support those who opt into this kind of experience.

Got Xenoblade Chronicles X for Christmas.

Heard you don't get access to mechs until 30 hours in, so hopefully the game hooks me enough to get to that point.
