Whole generation without a Zelda game. Nintendo is a joke right now.

Re: Wii U Discussion
If you have the system, it doesn't matter when production is ceased. Even if production ceased today, I'm sure there are enough in warehouses to fulfill what little demand there is. It was delayed last year to be this year's swan song. It might get Twilight Princess'd but it'll still be on Wii U.Comment

Wii U Discussion
Console Zeldas are typically once per generation. Only the NES and Gamecube got 2. Majora's Mask was OoT 1.5 as it was done really quick and the time mechanic was instituted so they have limited assets.Last edited by souljahbill; 03-29-2016, 11:51 AM.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Decided to sell mine. Got $225 just for the console and game pad couldn't believe it. It's only $300 new. Had it since the day it came out.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Yeah, the Wii U console and games really hold their value. I just sold my Windwaker console for $320. I think I bought it for $300 so I made a nice little profit. I also sold 8 games and none of them sold for less than $40.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Mine will go next to my other consoles I'm done with.
Nintendo's next system will certainly be a wait and see.
Love my Nintendo games but they lost me as an early adopter going forward.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
With Zelda getting delayed to next year I'm considering selling the WiiU. There are 0 games that are out/coming out this year that interest me. The only game I could consider picking up would be Twilight Princess HD to take care of that Zelda itch, but I put that game down after a few hours when it originally came out on Gamecub since it was so slow.
Star Fox Zero has mediocre reviews and from playing it at PAX, it feels like a remastered Star Fox 64, which I would potentially buy, but not for $50.
I guess I could keep it around for occasional local multiplayer of Smash and Mario Kart. Other than that it would be for another playthrough of Bayonetta or getting back into Splatoon's multiplayer.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Wii U Discussion
I was waiting for the Zelda game as well, but Im probably going to keep rotating Smash, Mario Kart and Splatoon unless I get interest in another game. They really messed it up with the WiiU, gamepad with sports games seems like a perfect match.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
I "may" have a change of heart.
One question that I'm unsure of.
I know a while back they made it supposedly easier but I still have no clue..
If I sell any Nintendo console or handheld.. what is the process to get system sell ready?
I want o be able to redownload my stuff later IF I get a new system and I can play the older games on it etc..
Any help would be appreciated as I'm confused as hell lolJoshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
Pretty simple. The meager increase in sales they would get wouldn't make up for the reduced profit per unit. Nintendo knows it's not a desirable product and is going to squeeze out any profit they can before it's soon put out to pasture. The majority of Wii U's out there are still from the original production run and what's left of that stock probably won't be liquidated until very near the release of NX.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment
