I can give you a better idea once I play it, but from what I know it's a remake of 1993 SNES title Mega Man X, the first of a series set in a future timeline apart from the original games. It's notable for having various upgrades hidden throughout the stages which give X permanently improved abilities (and these powerups have apparently been been moved to different places for the remake).

Other than a graphical facelift, I think the only other new addition is Vile Mode, which allows you to play through the game as one of the villians in the game, with his own abilities that are very different from X.

As for whether it's worth playing, MMX is one of my favorite games from the SNES era, so it follows that I'm probably going to really enjoy this one.

No trophies since it's a PSP game.

I wonder if there's a demo? I may wait until I get back from my business trip to purchase this; I'm hoping to clear off a couple of games while I'm away (Uncharted, Gravity Rush).

Got my message on the PS3 late last night. At first glance I thought it might have been one of those pass it on messages. Once I clicked it said it was from sony and had the PSN logo so knew it was legit.

I'm one of those who isn't shocked that he didn't get the $10.

Since I've had my PlayStation (2007), I've bought 2K10 Draft Combine ($5) and WWE 13 Season Pass ($10).

Yeah, who knows, I didn't get it either and I have a Vita, if that's not loyalty I don't know what is.

They probably just used the same failed tracking system they used for the rewards beta, that thing was a cluster****.
