Can't stress it enough - anyone who can use 2 step verification SHOULD. I've been reading way too many stories of people getting hacked lately, and I've noticed that my japanese PSN account had some unusual things going on too. I had to go through some japanese menus, but I did get it enabled. It's not like there's anything valuable on that account as I pay for my purchases there with Online PSN codes, but I don't really want to go through the hassle of creating another one if I lose it entirely.

Haven't had one problem on my main account which has had 2 step enabled for as long as it's existed on PSN.

Do you know how long this lasts?

Does the whole film have to download before you can watch it? And if so, does the 48 hours start once you start the download, finish the download, or on the first play of the film?

<b> When I did this on the PS3, you could start watching it as it was fully streaming. I guess this would work the same with the PS4? It does a network download speed reading before you start.</b>

When does the 48 hour begins to kick in?

I hadnt logged into my PSN in a long while. I got hacked somehow. Took a week to get everything back, paypal refunded the $50 spent on my account.

Sony acted like it was my fault.

I set up the 2 step verification once I was able to log back in etc.

Just got an e-mail to join Sony Rewards to earn points toward PSN cards and such. Will edit this post containing information for it momentarily.

EDIT: This actually may be old. It's the first I've heard of it, though. Wonder how to compare to BBY rewards and such.

If you haven't purchased Journey, The Unfinished Swan, Bound and Flower, do not take advantage of the Avant garde bundle sale going on right now.

The $45 is definitely less expensive than the total individual retail price of each game, but the weekly sale going on right now has actually made purchasing those 4 titles separately cost just $29 total.

Thanks for the heads-up. Been meaning to check out Journey and The Unfinished Swan for a long time now. I've heard good things about the other two games, too, but honestly don't know much about them.

Anyone else having/had issues with PS4 Update 4.50 apparently being corrupted? One of the boards I checked last night said they were able to resolve it by leaving their console unplugged for a bit. I tried overnight and it didn't help.

I'm now about to try via USB. I'm getting quite frustrated as I'm picking up The Show 17 next week and at this point I wouldn't be able to play it.

Anyone else not get Sony promotional emails? I get receipts for my purchases but nothing else. I used to get the weekly store update emails but they stopped over a year ago. I'm opted in and have never opted out, it doesn't make sense. I didn't mind missing them in the past but it's pretty annoying reading about them sending out PSN discount codes in these things more often now and just not getting them at all.

Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I don't get them either and I've signed up under a couple of accounts. Checked my junk inbox too and they aren't going there so I gave up on them.

Source? I've never gotten a discount code.

This latest one I've read about on the PS4 subreddit and on NeoGAF. I don't know how many people are getting them but for those thst do, there's a 20% off code in the email about weekly sales or this past weekend's flash sale.

I wouldn't care as much if I just wasn't getting codes. It's random so if I'm not on their list for that batch, it is what it is. It's that I used to get the emails and now I don't that confuses me.

I did get that 20% discount. Ended up getting The Evil Within and Sniper Elite III for 16 bucks with the sale plus the additional discount.
