Looks can be deceiving. While defo kid friendly as far as appearance, some of the levels are pretty tough to get through. Add in user created content and there are lots of things that will make adults happy and come back for more.

I'm kind of surprised they don't offer Warhawk. It would be a great advertisement for Starhawk.

It's the Toy Story of video games. When I went to watch Toy Story 3 and saw a sold out crowd of an audience between the ages of 16 and 28, I knew I could keep a straight face when my little sister laughed at me saying it's such a kid's movie.

Okay, not exactly... but this game is definitely for all audiences. It takes a backseat in terms of violence and overall head-scratching difficulty. Sure there are puzzles but they are right in front of you, they aren't Portal-like (with one exception I know of in an LBP2 bonus level). The game is very cute and, if you have one, two, or three people to play with, you won't regret the ride. As a free game, as a co-op experience it's honestly a much bigger no-brainer than inFamous. And LBP2 just takes everything up a big, big notch.

I already own infamous and LBP, and I couldn't really care less about the others.

              Oh well.

Thats a good point. I would have chosen Warhawk again if it was available.

Certainly isn't though. It's a very fun and challenging game. I also love the creation capabilities.
I own both LBP1 and 2 so I won't be getting that as a free one. Still undecided which to get.

Finally had time to reset my passwork this morning and I'm all set

I'm looking forward to finally trying it out. I bet the girlfriend will like it too.

There are literally millions of user created levels in LBP. From remakes of oldschool platformers, to totally original content. One of my favorite creators was 'gevurah22'... he made some insane levels like these:

There was also another guy who did a few amusement park themed levels, complete with roller coasters, bumper cars, etc... and even had a turnstyle at the entrance LOL. I think they were called "Whizzers World" or something like that.

Thing is, LBP2 takes what you can do in the 1st game and multiplies it by 100! As well as allowing you to play all the LBP1 content/levels.

The first game is definitely a classic in itself, and a steal for free.
