Even though I'm not supposed to trust anything Slab says this game sounds like a lot of fun. The cross-buy is nice, too. Can you share save files from the PS3 and Vita?

Ha! My reputation has been forever tarnished! I think about that picture every time I post something too.

I will still put myself out there and guarantee (almost) that you will enjoy Guacamelee.

And yes, it does support cross-saves. Which also means trophies are unified... but the fact it has a platinum trophy makes up for the inability to double dip.

      Spoiler

LOL. I know. That had to have been the funniest thing I've seen around here in a while. And yeah, everytime you post I think about that avatar.

Cross-saves ... score! Downloading this bad boy today. I need something to take my mind off of my suckiness in MLB 13 The Show. I cannot hit for the life of me on the Vita; my timing is all kinds of messed up.

Think I'll stick to the Vita on Dragon Fantasy - I'm getting overscan issues on my TV with the game and there's no in-game option to adjust the screen size. Just a heads up to those who only have a PS3 - it looks fine on the Vita.

You should try Pro Yakyuu Spirits if you're having trouble hitting in The Show.

Pro Yakyuu Spirits is extremely forgiving on default settings because it has all kinds of batting and pitching assists.

You don't have a "screen fit" option on your TV that you're potentially not using?

While using the PS3 on the AV1 port (component) I have 2 screen format options on my TV - Wide Screen and Auto. Auto attempts to resize the scan to fit the screen, but it doesn't always get it right (and for this game, it doesn't).

Regular TV Viewing on the HDMI port gives me more screen formatting options, but I don't really want to have to disconnect my PVR and hook the PS3 up through HDMI just to play one game that works perfectly fine on Vita.

I had similar issues with Rainbow Moon and Guacamelee - however, those two games allow you to resize the screen with in-game options, which makes it a non-issue. This one does not.

Gotcha. I'm working with the PVR 2 and went with a massive workaround to get the PS3 to work through HDMI (only optical for sound, though).

Glad to hear everything is working out on Vita! I can't wait to start gaming again in maybe two to three weeks. School is currently kicking my butt though.

Very cool, I will buy it just to show some support for the classic FPW games.

Hopefully this release does well enough to make a sequel happen.
