Thinking about getting a second xbox question

All,

I'm thinking about picking up a second xbox 360 that I will take on the road with me when I travel for work.

The question I have is can I drag my game saves from one console to the other or can I put paid dlc on both machines ??

sure, but the stuff won't be on both simultaneously. Just get a flash drive and you can move whatever you want around easily.

DLC will work under your profile on any 360 as long as there's an internet connection, otherwise it has to used on the console it was downloaded on.

This is exactly what I do. I have two xboxs...one in my room (so I can play M rated games without my kids seeing) and one in the family room. It works great. I have all my saves on a flash drive and I download all my arcade games and DLC to the harddrive of both xboxs. As long as I am on xbox live (which I am always on) it isn't a problem. Of course, if xbox gets hacked like ps3, i am probably screwed with DLC/Arcade games.

So just so I understand....your profile is on the flash drive along with the save games ? or can you have a profile saved to both ??

profile and game saves is saved to the flash drive. DLC/Arcade games, etc is on the xbox HD. You cannot have your profile saved to both xboxes at the same time.

Got the new xbox today and put my profile on my jump drive...works like a champ for switching between boxes....thank you all for your help !!
