Quite clear that Xbox is trying to capture the Nintendo crowd. They probably feel they have captured the hardcore gamer and they want to eat into Nintendo's market share of casual and family gaming.

Probably a pretty good move on their part. That Disney Land thing is huge. Probably the best part of the E3 show.

Not one new ip or anything interesting with Kinect.

MS hasn't been about pushing new first party IP's at all, even before the kinect. They've pushed Halo, Fable, and Forza to death this gen.

This was a horrible conference, and did nothing but harden my hatred of kinect. The stuff looked awful, laggy, and on rails.

Will this make a new Halo an anual thing now? Halo ODST, Halo reach, Halo anniversary, and Halo 4.....feeling the heat from COD?

I think even Peter M knew how lame Fable The Journey looked. He usually has a ton of passion, but he seemed kind of beat down on the stage.

I really like the MC character so if they take him to a new story/universe I would be interested in playing it.

Huge budget console specific titles might not be the way to go anymore. You miss out on too many consumers.

Reach was better but if it turns out to be another failure like halo 3 then I'll be pissed. Microsofts conference blowed. I mean the halo fan in me is excited but another trilogy? Wouldn't that mean that the 5th or 6th one would be on the new console though?

with Bungie gone, MS might turn on the milk machine. I guess it could go like CoD, but that would be horrible, and I'll be no part of it.

After all that I still have absolutely no desire at all to get Kinect.

I'll be plenty busy playing games like Rage, Deus Ex, Skyrim and BF3.

Already have a Kinect, so to me I was glad to see more games use kinect. I bet if NBA 2K uses kinect everybody would jump on the kinect bandwagon and give all innovation credit to their master, 2K sports.
