    360 Billing Inquiry

So...I used to pay for xbox live with a credit card. After the entire PS3 Hack, I decided to switch over to the 12 month pre-paid card.

Unfortunately, even after I switched...It still has my credit card information saved on my 360, xbox.com, and billingMS.

Anyway to permanently delete this information?

you can delete credit cards from xbox.com under account settings.

They changed the site to force you to call them to turn off auto renewal again though, unless you have an address in the state of illinois.

Apparently I can't delete the credit card because you always need a form of payment on your account.

So even though I am paying this year with a pre-paid card, and auto renewal is off for my credit card...It has to still have the credit card on my account.

I have had your problem too Kev. It's a giant pain dealing with MS over the phone, so I'd almost rather just cancel my card and pay the $6 for a new one.

            That is what I figured...

And I actually found out that the credit card needing to be on your account is wrong. What I did apparently messed up the account. I ended up putting the pre-paid card on when I was still paying with the credit card (Had 2 days left of service). Apparently to take the card away, I was supposed to let my account go to silver...ugh
