Re: Black Xbox 360 Slim
Anyone have any idea of how much trade value you can get for a working 360 with 10GB HDD. I think it's 10. It's several years old.
Also, anyone know if it's possible to get any money out of a broken 360? Would someone buy for parts?Comment

Re: Black Xbox 360 Slim
Traded in my old white one with I believe was a 20GB harrdrive and got $110 at Gamestop.. $60 for the XBOX plus they have a special going through 8-11-11.. Essential, they give you $50 for your old XBOX if you're trading it in to get a Slim..Comment

Re: Black Xbox 360 Slim
I missed that deal, but assume it will be back. I have a 360 Elite that RROD'd. I did one of the online fixes. It worked for a bit than puttered out. I can still turn it on, but it will freeze within a few minutes of playing a game. I assume Gamestop would not accept this, correct? Or is the deal for any 360 (in any condition), just as long as you put the credit towards a new system? Also, do you keep your old hard drive when trading in an old system or do they take it?
Thanks.Comment

The trade in is for console, cables and one controller. $50 total w/wired controller, $60 w/wireless. You can trade in the hard drive in separate, but they don't give much.
FYI - the old hard drives can be taken out of the casing and be used with the black slim.Comment

Re: Black Xbox 360 Slim
I have seen Gamestop test consoles being traded in. So I don't think they will take non-working units.

It's on me. I shook his hand too hard. It was a hard ... kind of a slap-shake.

I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

Re: Black Xbox 360 Slim
I'm interested in getting the 4gb, but am not sure about it because I've heard that with games like NBA 2K, you don't get all of the replay packages in the game because of memory issues. I was curious if you attached a couple of flashdrives to give you more memory, would that allow you to see the replays? If that doesn't work, would I be stuck with having to buy an HDD from Microsoft?Currently Playing:

Re: Black Xbox 360 Slim
I picked up one of these 4GB at Walmart with the goof up of the kinect packaged price of $249. I am selling the Kinect online (PMs if you are interested in a Kinect with the Kinect game) so I may be looking at a brand new Xbox 360 4GB for around $100.Comment
