Of course it makes sense... It will make money, and it's not Microsoft's job to make sure everyone is a smart consumer.Comment

They did the same thing with the MW2 console a couple years ago. First 250 GB you could buy buy. After Christmas they made the 250 pretty standard. I'm sure they will do the same here.Gamertag and PSN Mrclutch1013

Re: Star Wars Kinect Bundle
I read earlier on IGN that they got delayed to early 2012, I'd be shocked that they would can the game since so much time was spent in development and showing it off. They just showed development of the Rancor mode. I still think this game would be better suited for Wii and PS3 using motion controllers....Comment

It wasn't given a new date and delayed indefinitely. It will probably hit at some point but doesn't look good.I read earlier on IGN that they got delayed to early 2012, I'd be shocked that they would can the game since so much time was spent in development and showing it off. Bad news for anyone hoping to get their hands on Star Wars Kinect and the accompanying droid-themed Xbox 360 console bundle in time for the holiday season. According to British gaming site MCV, Microsoft has confirmed that both the game and console bundle will miss their targeted end-of-year release window, instead slipping into early 2012.
A Microsoft rep is quoted as saying --
"Microsoft and LucasArts have elected to move the launch of Kinect Star Wars beyond holiday 2011 to ensure the full potential of this title is realized.
"This move applies to both the Kinect Star Wars stand-alone game and the Kinect Star Wars Limited Edition Console. We will communicate additional timing information at a later date."Comment
