Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3
For a streaming service, there's no way in hell DTV should've charged what they did. There's so much room for error. I hope it gets fixed for you guys. I know it sucks.PSN: xxplosive1984Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Really dude? Normally I do not respond to posts like this... but today is different.
Relax, especially today of all days. Put things into perspective. Do not let things like this bother you, go hug a loved one. Today should prove that of all days.
Peace!Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3
today being Sept 11th has absolutely nothing to do with this problem though. All i said is that they are turning into a ****ty company and i have little faith in their "techs" since they worked wonders when they were hacked
Im a Police Officer in NY. I know a lot of people who passed away on Sept 11th. Has absolutely nothing to do with this and shame on you for trying to make some connection that just isnt necessary.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

I was not making a connection, just that there is bigger things to reflect upon today, than spewing console hatorade. With that said, bless you and your service.Last edited by EnigmaNemesis; 09-11-2011, 01:57 PM.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3
spewing hatorade as per my usual? I think you have me mixed up with someone else. In 8 years of being here, i think i've said 3 or 4 bad things about either company combined. I own both. It gets really annoying that whenever someone says something negative about an experience with one console it gets lumped into some childish fanboyism. I'm nearing 40 years old. I couldn't give a rats *** what company made what i'm playing as long as i enjoy it.
If you can't understand why someone would be upset for paying over $300 for a service that is currently unwatchable then so be it, but don't reply then. You obviously aren't adding anything to this and it's going to start a flame war that isn't the intention at all of this.
We recently buried someone from my job for a 9/11 related illness. I deal with things from 9/11 a hell of a lot more than the average person, so please, save me the rhetoric about what day it is. It's insulting and not necessary.
Now......back to what this thread is supposed to be about.
Anyone hear any news about what the exact problem is? Too many users at once? Netflix is very fluid for me, as is the PS store.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3
No, just you went all ape sh** in the PSN outage thread as well. Sorry, I just think it is over-reacting, regardless of age, etc. I am not calling you a fanboy, but just going off how quick you react with some hostility towards them.
It does not reach them here, only annoying to read people say this company is crappy, that company is crappy, it gets ugly and is unnecessary. I am annoyed, I would like to be watching it as well, but there is a better way to express it, is all. And just trying to put things in more perspective today, and not get so worked up over things out of my control.
Obviously they are experiencing some serious server load, and I will bet DirectTV did not plan accordingly with enough bandwidth to pipe the streaming in.
This is not a Sony isolated issue... it happens with all companies launching new popular services. Even games themselves. MSFT, Ninendo, Apple to Sony.
Sorry for your loss, bless you! Was just trying to get you to reflect upon perspective. And not get so upset over silicon and wires. No offense was meant. Trust me.
And I will add a little humor, since you are a cop, and you seem to get fired up pretty easily, "don't taze me bro!"

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3
well to be honest, i wouldn't call me saying something as going ape****. Im just typing out a few sentences here and there. Seeing how you're pretty much the only person I can remember calling me someone who's intention is "console hatorade" I'd say that it's a little unfounded.
Heck, I didn't even say a word about the ps3 itself. I'm on my second one because i even wanted the slim. It's a great piece of machinery. Sony itself though is dropping the ball several different times.
I'm extremely pissed because I paid good money so i can stay home today and watch my Bears from my home in NY and not spend money at the bar. However, I can't seem to do that, which is bothering me a LOT.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment

Re: PSBlog: DIRECTV and PlayStation Bring NFL Sunday Ticket to PS3
Agreed with you there, I would hate to have to go out and spend, and not be able to view from the comfort of my home.
It is a conspiracy the NFL has with these darn sports bars and beer sponsors!

they just better get their **** together fast. More and more it's looking like a DirectTv problem than anything else since it's not just ps3 users getting affected.Yankees, Manchester United, Chicago Bears, New York RangersComment
