Re: Xbox One
Agreed. I feel like both XBL and PSN should be a little more competitive with their pricing on these games.
I understand the convenience factor of it but you're still getting less (no physical disc) for more money.

Re: Xbox One
Trying to decide between The Witcher 3, MGS V, or Mad Max. I'm thinking about buying The Witcher 3 since it's only $42, and waiting for a price drop in November for MGS V and Mad MaxComment

Witcher 3 is one of my top 5 games ever. I hope you have at least 100 hours though.Comment

The Witcher will be 39.99 at best buy next week. 31.99 for gcu members.Last edited by sbauer318; 09-03-2015, 06:27 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Between those 3 the easy choice is the Witcher 3 as it is one of the best games ever made IMO. It has quirks like all games and the combat is a bit wonky but the overall package is incredible and is on sale next week at best buy for 40 or a bit less if you are a GCM
The MGS game is also fantastic but cannot recommend to spend 60 on Mad Max. More of a rental or bin discount
MGS is a long game but not nearly as long as Witcher 3. If you do not have time to put work in on Witcher is not worth to buy itComment

Re: Xbox One
The Witcher 3 is a superb action hack and slash RPG but be prepared to put in over 100 hours for the story alone and 300 hours if you want to complete everything. 9.5/10 and my current game of the year and it will most likely stay that way as I don't see any game for the rest of this year matching it let alone surpassing it. Like the other poster said, starting Sunday, the game is $40 ($32 with GCU) at Best Buy.
MGSV is said to be a superb game as well but hope you know the previous games as well as the PSP games because the story is confusing as hell from the impressions I have read. Aside from that, the visuals, gameplay and stealth is excellent. With that said, based on impressions, it's a slow paced stealth tactical game so be prepared for that if you get the game.
Mad Max is what im currently playing (also have MGSV but im not playing it until after Mad Max) and in three days, im currently about 30+ hours into the game. Visually, the game looks great, the atmosphere and immersion is excellent, the music, sound and voice acting is very well done as well. The gameplay is also excellent. Max controls the same as Geralt in Witcher 3 in terms of how he walks and moves around including doing that little stutter step when stopping but it's minor. The melee is better than Batman in my opinion simply because it's more close quartered, more brutal and high impact. It's not arcade like in Batman where he goes around in a circle hitting everyone just to repeat it over and over. It's not as deep as Batman but it's the most satisfying melee combat I have played since Sleeping Dogs. The upgrading, RPG elements, scavenging, exploration, some plat-forming, side content, etc. is all very well done and fits into the premise of the game perfectly. The best thing about the game is that it's fun, like a 10/10 fun to play. The game shines with it's car combat and it so satisfying blowing up other cars, chasing down convoys (which makes me think of the car chase in Fury Road every time, lol) and all the other stuff in the game. Characters are solid and the story has been good thus far but im only five missions in since I have spent so much time on everything else. Barring some horrible game breaking bug or glitch, Mad Max is easily a 9/10 for me personally and the most fun I have had with any game this entire generation.
Three great different games. You can't go wrong either way.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Fellas can you help me please. I can't for the life of me figure out how to download a demo or game from work on the smartglass app or Web browser. It only says I have to be on the same wireless network. Everyone talked about preloading the forza demo the other day. I've literally searched xbox boards and youtube. Cant. Figure.it.out.

Re: Xbox One
You should be able to just go to the store on the app or on the web, make your purchase, and if your xbox is set to instant-on with automatic downloads, you are good to go.Fellas can you help me please.
