Hindsight is 20/20, but sure I wish I had a longer warranty on it now. I have been lucky with the majority of the systems Ive owned. Which is why I normally dont spend extra on warranties.

Mine had an issue with Madden 16, but plays all other discs I had just fine...Randomly it would do this on both my Xboxes too. But they each play DVDs and other games just fine. I'm thinking I just had a weird issue with Madden.

I just bailed on Madden and had Fallout 4 digital preorder anyways....I'll try some other disc game on sale and I think it'll work....

With EA Access and Fallout 4 (and 3 when BC works) I'm set for a while....I'll get other games in the spring on sale.

Yea it could the system though. I have said this earlier in the thread. But I have had a similar issue on 360 with Fallout 3. It wouldn't work on of my Xboxes (the one with the regular 250GB HD) but it worked perfectly on my 4GB one I got when I got a laptop for college about 4-5 years ago. And the problem was I could get up to one part and the game would freeze on me. But the same disk worked completely fine on the smaller 360. And Fallout was the only game I had an issue with.

Mine currently only seems to have a problem with NBA 2k15 for some odd reason. Also the other day we rented a blue ray version of Mad Max and it would play like 20 mins at at time then freeze..... The blue ray disc was clean as could be

Yeah...right now I'm not in the position financially to replace the system, but maybe in a year or so I could get one of the bundles cheaper and upgrade my HD or something.

It's not really bugging me though, cause I really don't buy a ton of discs, and have been enjoying the free GWG along with EA Access now....since I don't have tons of gaming time I benefit from older stuff more.

The new UI is BOSS, got the update last night, this system keeps getting better and better. I mean people who are not in the preview program will be in for such a treat when it goes live. MS has come back so strong.

I agree. Came home from a 3 day trip yesterday and fired up my XB1 and was greeted with the new UI. Tried Forza 6 and NBA 2k16 and didnt have an issue playing the game. I like the feel of the new UI as well as the responsiveness. I had to re enable some of my sign on settings (ie..kinect sign in) but other than that, everything looks to be in order.

I don't know how i feel about the new UI. There's certain things I preferred about the old UI - like the snapped party chat look and feel. It was much easier to tell who was talking in the old UI - depending on the players avatar it can be much harder now. The fonts are harder to read. Also I don't see an option to mute a player.

The TV interface seems like it takes you several jumps to get to the actual live tv guide. Before I could just press the X button.

The dashboard itself will take some getting used to. I'm not used to having a desktop you can swipe in two dimensions lol.

With that said, it is much faster, that I do appreciate. However outside of the speed, I still don't quite see the point of this update. There doesn't appear to be any new functionality, just things being rearranged for questionable reasons (e.g. There's no reason a item in my feed about "Person A has added person B as a friend" has to take up 50% of my screen).

That entire community feed is incomplete.

I like the UI when I don't have issues. Had video stutter last night and frequently have WiFi issues on boot, and as I've mentioned my kinect is not currently working. There's a thread about that on the preview forums so hopefully that's a bug and not a dead accessory

Love it otherwise, there's a ton under the hood, between having more data at our fingertips and without needing to load into apps for them. I wonder what it does to the OS footprint.

I'm still hoping that sound mixer from snap and main comes in soon. Really makes it tough to snap, have to go to settings, change the mixer, and go back to what have you.

I do like it so far. Just gotta get used to it.

The chat mixer comes up on the snap menu when you double tap the Xbox button on the controller, it's right under notifications. Also if you push down or up on the d-pad while watching tv, it will bring up the mini-TV guide, left will pull up the One Guide menu to get the full screen TV guide.

Anyone else notice that when you use voice commands the green circle is kind of cut off? Everything else seems right where it should be but something with that and snap seems off.
