Not even close to $330...the elite controller is $150. 1TB ehd is 60 or so. And CoD is $60. With a 5% sales tax it comes out to be 283.50

you said you did not care about having better performing hard drive solid state drive hybrid which will cost more then 60 and is not external..

But yea you would spend more then 250

And I would trade 3 standard controllers for one elite...That is just me but there is no comparison..

That is why the elite bundle is for people that want the extra perks and performance advantages...If those dont matter to you then you should stay with what you have as it works for you both gaming wise and financially

you already installed the patches on your consoles...When you do a factory reset it just deletes the data but the patch stays on the console...So gamestop will turn it on and just have to create an account off line which they do quickly and that is that...

Non Elite 1tb are standard mechanical drives...The SSHD Hybrid drive is mechanical but with a solid state partition that will make games load and install 20% faster...I can attest to that

Yeah, in my case I'd probably just have it delete my profiles and leave the rest alone cause I know those games installed work lol

Or just bring it in, have them test, and watch them format it there....

I'd be extremely cautious, it's almost a new console launch. Who says these elite consoles won't have a major problem like the other launches?

Is not a new console...Is the same one but with a better hard drive...Nothing more changed....I am thinking of doing it to but i already have halo bundle and got the elite controller.

My cousin is loving his elite console though...we compared load times and they are ranging from 5 to 12 seconds faster on his and apps are much faster but the kicker is the install times for disc base games...WOW

and the elite bundle has been out a week and zero reported issues that i have seen or read about

The $250 trade in value for Xbox One/PS4 is the base value meaning you don't have to use it the same day or towards anything at all. The $250 trade in value expires 11/15/15 which is a week from this Sunday.

Regarding if you need a controller with the console, yes you do if you want to get the full credit. Otherwise, they subtract the difference which is whatever they sell used controllers for (so $54.99??? lol). Better off trading in the controller since you're getting a new one anyway.

Black Friday wise, im expecting the 500GB bundles to include a free game and a controller for $300. It's what im waiting for to be perfectly honest.

Also, for those who trade in consoles/games to GameStop and have that PowerUp Rewards Card, the credit goes on that which is a good thing because there's no sales tax. So, for example when I trade in my PS4 and Syndicate, I'll have $283 in credit. When I buy the Xbox One for $300 on Black Friday, the cash difference is only $17 and the tax is only on the cash amount so less than $1.70 (NY is 8.75% or something like that, I always round up to 10% as it makes it a lot easier to figure out). On $300, the tax here would be about $25 or so. That's extra money that you can save.

You definitely can, my LIVE account was up in June, bought two 12 month cards on eBay for $65, u can stack cause I did. My membership ends in 2017

Still nothing from rockstar or activision on backwards compatibility huh? Activision I kind of expected with their new Sony deal and the obvious situation of all the new cods sucking compared to the ones on 360. Rockstar is kind of annoying though. Was really hoping red dead was available.

I need to have 2 systems though....We actually use Kinect in the living room and bedroom both....and use both for netflix, amazon, etc. I also like the ability to game upstairs or downstairs based on what's going on.

If I can get the discs to read right then I'll get 500 for both systems, throw in GTAV for 27, end up with 527 in credit and have to pay 600 plus tax for 2 300 bundles....

Fixes my disc issue for both systems for 70-80 and I get more games and controllers.

My main issue/concern is if they'll test the system with discs that don't end up working, vs. if I trade in GTA or something else that works if they'll just test that disc and call it good.
