I'm hoping for at least $200 or $250 because GameStop offered $250 for the base Xbox One in June if you were to put that trade in value towards a PS4 so im hoping they do the same thing but towards an Xbox One Slim.

Thought about ebay/amazon, etc. but I don't want to go through the hassle of packing and shipping plus the fees. Craigslist is way too risky imo. I don't want some guy to try to kill me and then run off with my Xbox One. LOL.

The 500GB is four weeks away from today so hopefully, between now and then, GameStop will have a solid trade in/up offer.

Nobody is going to give you $250 for the base Xbox One system when you can but it + 2 games + a controller for $250 right now.

$150, maybe, with a trade-in special if they do one.

If I didn't want the UHD player I'd just be buying the above deal instead of a One S, lol.

They'll give me $200 for my PS4, so they can have that towards a One S next week.

Gamestop sells the used systems for $219 right now, there's no way they're going to give $200 trade value. I'd be shocked if they even gave $150 if they have a trade in deal.

how are they going to give you 250 when the console cost 250 new.

GameStop will not offer more then 150 for vanilla 500gb console. With the new being 250 that will make them reduce the used consoles from 219 to possible 199.00 which means value of trade needs to be lower then their used console prices.

Remember gamestop does not give you more for having bigger drive. It is the same 100 right now

Yeah, exactly. They were doing 250 last fall (when I fixed my wonky disc drive Xbox Ones...) With the price drops since there's no way they'll offer that amazing of a deal.

I'm guessing 150 cause they have refurbish overhead and can't sell used ones for more than 200 I'd bet.

I don't need the S, so may upgrade one of mine to Scorpio next year, but who knows...not sure if it'll really be worth my money at the time. I'm more hoping for a 4k tv, but may just be poor after twins lol

Probably not $250 but $200 is doable. They were giving $250 in credit for Xbox One when it was $300 so they could do it again if you use the credit to upgrade towards the Slim.

not happening. The vanilla xb1 is so under priced right now that the used version they sell will go down to 200 so you cannot give credit of 200 when they will sell it for 200. GameStop in the business of making money

right now is 100 and it has not moved in 2 months and it wont as price drops more. Dont be shocked if they lower the vanilla trade in for $75 once the hoopla is done

And remember their trade bump will be only for August and it will be at best 150

well you might get a bit more due to kinect but if you kept kinect and gave your day one which holds no extra value and controller they right now give you 100 credit.

They might boost to 150 but only if you trade in to buy the slim

I'm not going to bother with slim. Waiting on Scorpio. If slim was in black as well as white I would bite. Would keep Kinect either way though.

7/32-8/6 Best Buy to offer $125 toward an XB1S when you trade in any PS4 or XB1. (Console must include AC adapter/power cord, power on, not be damaged or have its warranty seal broken to be considered working. Condition, documentation and accessories may affect value.)

There's a bunch of people in Europe that received their slims today. Some are saying 4k blu ray and 4k netflix is locked until a patch on release date which i think is very lame from Microsoft's part. I'm envious lol and wish I could get my hands on one, but i'll wait until the 23rd for mine.
