I hope Xbox Live has a similar sale for digital copies on Black Friday. I plan on buying every game on this list but didn’t feel like paying full price for them since I have them on the PS4 pro already.

According to VG Tech video on FF15 and COD WW2


The PS4 Pro version uses checkerboard rendering and a dynamic resolution with the lowest pixel count found being approximately 2630x1480 and the highest pixel count found being 3360x1890. This is downsampled when outputting at 1080p.

The Xbox One X version uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest pixel count found being approximately 2420x1360 and the highest pixel count found being 3200x1800. The Xbox One X version does not appear to use checkerboard rendering.


COD WW2:

According to VG Tech on COD WW2

The PS4 Pro version uses a dynamic resolution with the lowest pixel count found being approximately 960x2160 and the highest count found being approximately 2640x2160. The PS4 Pro downsamples when outputting at 1080p.

The Xbox One X version uses a dynamic resolution with the native resolution ranging from 1920x2160 to 3840x2160.


That is a big difference in resolution no?

It looks amazing on the Pro, I can only imagine what it must look like on the X. I should have waited and got it on the X darn it!

I'm getting nervous. Last night while viewing EA access my X shut off for no reason. I did a search and apparently there are reports of this happening to the Scorpio models, only difference is mine turned back on and seems fine so far. The ones in the report online did not.

No biggie I know Microsoft will take care of it if it fails, I sent my launch 360 back 7 times. Never cost me anything.

I got the Scorpio through Amazon and will have it Saturday so hope all is OK. I wonder why the scorpio would have issues tho and not the regular. It's all the same despite some green engraving.

Yeah I probably shouldn't have started out with "I'm getting nervous". I'm actually not. As with all new electronics there's always a chance of failure. If that happens, back to Game Stop it goes for a replacement. I'm going to work this thing hard for the next 4 days, I have faith in it.

I wish people complaining about over heating would post pictures of their setups.

I don’t have a ton of clearance around the back of mine and it gets hot. Nothing too bad but I can imagine how much worse it would be if I didn’t have the top and side clearance I have. I’m guessing that’s why units are just shutting down mid game.

ACO looks amazing with HDR. I have never seen lighting in a video game like the X shows. Just seeing the HDR logo pop up (on my TV) at the beginning is so exciting. I have COD WWII sitting in the wrapper still. I know I'll be in for a treat with that one as well. Saving that for Friday night with a cold one.
