I caved on Saturday and bought an Xbox One X. I am a big Show/Uncharted fan, have the PS4 Pro, and barely touched my Xbox One. Sold my Xbox One to a friend for $150 so the new one only cost me $350.

I LOVE it! There is no doubt that I will switch over to the Xbox for cross-platform gaming. Already started COD WW2, will replay Rise of the Tomb Raider, and pick up Assassins Creed Origins despite having 30 plus hours invested into my PS4 Pro version.

The graphics are great, but I am most impressed with the sound. I have the Astro A50 headphones, which I love, but they are even more impressive on the new Xbox. And I haven't even figured out how to install the Atmos App yet.

A good time to be a gamer (even at age 54!).

Something that's happened a couple times is when I click the guide button to go to home screen and quite a game the screen goes black and nothing shows. Press the directional pad on the controller and I hear the movement on the screen but I don't see anything. I went to HDMI to check another device and the picture was showing on it but went back to HDMI 1 and it wasn't showing. Did a hard reset and everything was fine

Yeah. Something similar happened to me a couple of times. I was playing AC Origins and I quit the game. When I got to the home screen, I could hear the sound of navigating throughout the home screen but nothing was moving on the screen. I wanted to turn off my xbox so I just hit the button on the console. When it came back on, everything was working fine. Only experienced this when playing AC Origins. Seems like a bug.

Asked this on the deal thread but figured I ask here as well

Anyone know if that Walmart Black Frida tv for $300 is worth it?

Really don’t wanna spend $500+ on a tv for my Xbox One X. But I really do wanna upgrade from my 1080p

I’m sure there is much better tvs but will I still notice a somewhat difference with it being 4K

TV doesn't have HDR, so you'll get the bump of 4K, but you'll miss the HDR impact.

If it’s in the budget make sure you get a tv with HDR. For me even if it meant waiting a few months for the cash flow if that was the case I️ would wait. Good luck in your search.

Took the plunge today and got an xbox one X, first Xbox since the original xb1 came out. I got Forza 7 with it, wow looks impressive. I am complete now as I have the pro and switch as well, what a time to be a gamer, they all bring so much to the table collectively and individually

Usually the TV says if they support HDR. I will say this, alot of people feel 4K HDR is a bigger leap from 4K than 4K is from 1080p.
