Destrucoid review of the Xbox One version of Ghosts:
So being that the game was running on Xbox One hardware, I'm sure the first thing that might spring to mind is the game's native 720p resolution. To be honest, I had known about the resolution going in, but it barely occurred to me while playing. If I hadn't known, I honestly would have never guessed. Instead, I was far more impressed with the game's smooth performance, owed in large part to its solid 60 frames-per-second. That is to say, I experienced no drops in frame-rate similar to those you might have experienced when activating multiple kill-streaks in prior installments of the series. -

I've played a dev build of Zoo Tycoon and I thought it was pretty bad. As someone who played a lot of the original, I was really looking forward to this one and was disappointed because it was very different and it seemed to lack pretty much all of the complexity and strategy of the older games. You basically just slap down a prefabricated habitat instead of building it and then add food troughs. That was basically it. It had very noticeable framerate issues as well (~10-15 fps). I hope that the final build is better in both gameplay and performance.Comment

Re: Xbox One
You make that claim based on a Youtube video's resolution?
Taken in conjunction with the Destructoid review that praised the XB1's rock solid 60 fps, and it looks like they were smarter to limit textures to 720p and avoid the slowdowns seen in the PS4 version.Despite a lack of serious gameplay additions, there was a massive disparity in graphical quality between the two versions. This is because Activision has effectively built a new engine from the ground up to get the most out of the Xbox One's upgraded x86 Accelerated Processing Unit (APU) designed by AMD and based on its Jaguar processor architecture.
The first big change we noticed was how smooth Call of Duty: Ghosts' 3D models for the Xbox One look compared to those for the Xbox 360. Playing through the various multiplayer maps we were let loose on, we could see a visible difference in graphical quality. The Xbox One version of Call of Duty: Ghosts features wonderfully smooth and as a result more realistic 3D models that made their Xbox 360 counterparts look slightly jagged. The developer on hand told us that the upgraded hardware let the team's artists and coders load more triangles and polygons into the characters and models.
The extra triangles and polygons allowed the developers to create smoother, more complex shapes that feature no breaks in curvature. A good, yet basic example of this was the Xbox One version of the Call of Duty: Ghosts' aiming reticle. Looking down the sight of our weapon the aiming reticle proved to be a smooth circle, even when viewed up close. By comparison, when we ran the same test on the Xbox 360 version, we noticed that the reticle was made up of a series of straight lines and looked slightly more jagged.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Well, here we go again. I can't wait for release day. Once again, I wasn't aware you've seen the PS4 version, oh wait, I have and I didn't notice any frame rate issues. Someone could post a video of current gen call of duty on 360 and say its Xbox one and you would still claim it is the better game. There is a reason activision was able to make ghosts 1080p on ps4 and not on Xbox one. OPEN YOUR EYES ALREADY! This same old debate is getting tired, and is why I've always hated Xbox, never can be wrong ever people. You make that claim based on a Youtube video's resolution?

Re: Xbox One
There seems to be differences in opinion on the framerate issues on XBox One..You make that claim based on a Youtube video's resolution?

Ex IGN editor Jeremy Conrad has reported that Call of Duty: Ghosts on Xbox One has inconsistent frame rate drops and laments that gamers should avoid buying the game.Comment
