Its great that their may be a cheaper Xbox one coming out but my feelings towards a disk less console is as follows:



But, its good that their is that "cheaper" option available for people who are looking to get the xbox one.

My feelings the same Ckarlic. I mean has the kinect introduced anything really new to gaming since xbox1's release besides as a vocie/hand remote for the TV? Wish they would offer a kinect-less console instead but I know that won't happen. Yes, you have options but those who already have a DVD-ROM XBox1 better have continued support by Microsoft for firmware updates so they can use it as a DVD player.

This decision is for one reason, that Microsoft wants to go DRM as originally planned. They want you always on-line for their future plans.Analyst Michael Pachter also gives his opinion on this decision if true.

Dead Island starting Saturday is free.

Toy Soldiers Cold War starting the 16th.

Dead Island isn't bad, played through some of it on PC, may have to check it out.

Toy Soldiers seems cool, never played it so have to try.

Still a bit older games, but not terrible.

Can't wait until the One games start coming.

Anyone use Xbox Fitness? I've been having more and more problems with "insufficient bandwidth" errors...frustrating in the middle of a workout...I don't have any problems with Netflix, Amazon etc so not sure what is going on...

Could I trade in a PS3 and Xbox 360 and receive $200 toward an Xbox? This is probably the only thing that would convince me to buy one at this point.

It's a nice marketing ploy that some might "fall for".
But I just got 160 for my PS3(my third one ....still have two).....and you get to use the $$$ for what you want!
The "going rate" for PS3's is still above $100.00

True, though some will go with an offer that may be less hassle than other channels. I know many friends who left Gamestop feeling like they should have brought some form of lubrication before trading something in and I personally hate dealing with the gray market outside of an app friends made (Rumgr) on occasion.

This is true.
I just happened to have someone who wanted a PS3....and he wouldn't take it from me gratis....so he went on EBay and used the average price he saw.
I threw in two controllers for him(I probably have a dozen...all in various working order )

Yeah, I was in a similar situation with a PS4 I won, though I gave it to a friend at MSRP and he threw in some extra anyways. I was stressing over dealing w/ selling it before a friend wanted it

Yeah...I'm not a big Ebay...or craigslist guy.
I don't even return or trade in unless I'm really "motivated"(hate something that much or just cleaning up)

Well I broke down and bought a One. I planned to buy one within the year and realized that with a baby coming that its probably better to make purchases like this before he comes. Only bought Ryse but may pick up Forza. I like the TV stuff so far even though I had some issues with it working with my Verizon box.

Good news all around. I have both systems now so I dont have to be jealous when games come out for either systems.

I'm in a similar situation as we close on our house in May, and I want new irons and would love to get the One before we move in. I really want them to incorporate the NFL Game Rewind app first. That would make my life so easy and complete.

Got one today. No games yet though. May hit up Gamefly on a free deal. Same here, i'd planned to get one at some point this year.
