They're catching up as far as recent games, with Sleeping Dogs and Hitman. I can't imagine their policy is much of a barrier right now.

My Xbox still doesn't record any clips automatically. If I say Xbox, record this it records but won't record automatically. This kind of sucks.

Alt, I think there is a button that you can use to make it record automatically. What's weird is that in FIFA it records CPU highlights automatically but not user one's.

Won't happen, unless they change their licensing to be like PS+ (ie: you don't get to keep the game forever.)

Very happy to hear about the hire though. Hopefully more good news comes from the MS camp down the line.

I think they're looking to change/adapt. Phil's repeatedly been saying that they have to adjust GWG to meet expectations. They know people aren't really happy.

I'm wondering if Ryse will be the first GWG on Xbox One...not sure. Maybe Forza. I think they'll go bigger vs. small. Hoping beyond hope that it's not DR3, the one game I have gotten lol.

How long do you keep games with PS+? I thought it was forever but for example I'm downloading Arkham City right now but doubt I'll get around to it for a few months, am I wasting time downloading or how long do you keep it?

GWG you keep forever, with or without XBox Gold if you get them.

PS+ games you can only play if you keep PS+ going. However, say you let it lapse (for whatever reason) - once you re-subscribe to PS+ it will still be in your downloads and you can play it again even though it lapsed.

It's a very subtle difference in licensing that has allowed PS+ to offer the "better" games (though, I think "newer" is a better term for some of them.)

MS is kinda in a tough position with this one. On one hand if they go with the route that leads to "better" games (the same as Sony's offering right now, have to keep subscription active to play), they will have the better games. They will also have people angry (and possibly some faux internet "outrage", which can spread like wildfire) and blasting them because "we could keep them forever" (not that 90% of people ever let their subscriptions lapse.) On the other hand, if they keep at what they are doing they have undoubtedly the worst of the "free game" offerings.

Question about the Xbox One Headset Adapter if anyone has one, do apples earbuds work with that or no?

Just curious if I need to pickup a different pair when I get one or if they'll work with it.

Anyone who uses the adapter have any feedback on it, pros/cons?

I don't have Apple earbuds anymore but they should work (I would think).

I like the adapter. I got my PC Razer headset able to connect and it's a good option if I don't want my PX5s.

I do get some of the sound cutting out once in a while during a game, but I think that's something they'll fix in the next update.

Annoying to pay 25 bucks, but I needed it in order to get my PX5s doing voice chat too, but may just use it with other headphones at times as well.

Haven't tried the Apple earbuds but when 32 had a question a few weeks back I did just try a just a random set of earbuds and the game audio worked just fine with them so I don't see any reason the Apple ear buds wouldn't work.
