I upgraded the HD in mine do I have to track down the stock HDD or I'll only get 'needs to be refurbished' trade in value for mine.

I did that with my 360, it has the bigger HD you could buy....I wonder how that impacts trade value. I think I'd get at least 300 at BB for my systems, plus I have Kinect for 360, so that'd be something more. I need to see if I still have any games or anything, but I could make it so I get another One for 100-150.

I know I could get a PS4 instead, but I think it makes sense for me to just rock one console. I don't play enough and care enough about exclusives to have to buy into 2 ecosystems...

I have to look, I know it's Slim, but don't remember the GB...that's not too bad then.

I'll have to seriously think about dumping all the stuff I have laying around for something I'd actually use.

Is BB better than GS now? I'd rather go through them anyways since I'm GCU (great deal for new games)....

GS had great trade in deals about a month ago on consoles but not now. They might give you 75 for the ps3

for xb1 with kinect they give 230 and ps4 250

Go to BB and get $150 hopefully and use that towards a new xb1

um, where is the registration screen????

I'm at work, and not infront of my XB1 right now, so I'm going from memory, but if you open the Xbox Preview App itself, one of the tiles that you can click on and open up is called "registration" I believe that's it's title. It's one of the ones on the main screen of the app itself. Once you go into it, it allows you to see the status of your console in the program. If you just recently got into the preview, it will likely say Pending. It will eventually change to "enrolled" which took about a week for me. Once it's enrolled, you apparently have the ability to unregister yourself as well.

Of course if you aren't even at the point where you've gotten the invite to get the app from MS, then you have to keep waiting.

I would like a one in my bedroom too. Just so I can tell my tv to turn off before I fall asleep. Not sure if that is worth 400 bucks though.

lol yeah. I just have stuff that when I'm honest to myself I'm not going to use much. If I can spin that to a new Xbox One that I will use then it's a big win.

I couldn't do it if I had to pay out of pocket 500 (we want Kinect). I could afford it, but it's not a smart way to spend savings...I want a 70" tv but that's not happening anytime soon either lol

Only 1 coupon and trade in per person....Anyone have any idea if I could do 2 separate trade ins (one ps3, one 360) and use both coupons on one Xbox One?

I may have to talk to someone at Best Buy...I'd like to take advantage of both...

With the XB1, can I put downloaded movie files (.avi etc) onto a USB or a hard drive (as long as its over 256mb and usb 3.0) and play the movies on the XB1 like I could on the 360? I tried with a USB stick that I typically use in my 360, but its only 16gb and I dont want to run out and buy one and it not work.

I called up...only one coupon per person, so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let me stack the $50 coupons...

Still probably a good deal to trade them both in at whatever Best Buy will give me, wouldn't you think? I don't think I'd really get that much better on eBay or something and that's a big pain...may run out tomorrow afternoon...

Would have been great if they'd give me the add on 50 though, ugh.
