Thanks. I'm new to gaming headsets but have heard Turtle Beach being among the best out there.

We have a 6 month old and love it. It's great to tell the tv to mute, change to HGTV, pause, go to Netflix and have it listen. We also use the skype a ton too. She talks to her sisters and mom with the baby and it's all integrated on the big tv rather than a PC or tablet. I ended up getting a 2nd for the bedroom, also so I could game even if she wants to watch tv. I only wanted 1 console this gen, won't afford/have time for a PS4 as well.

Not too much help on headsets. I have a 1st gen PX5 I use, and also got the headset adapter that lets me use a wired PC headset (with a separate mic/sound to 3.5mm adapter) as well. Do you have any headsets currently?

Yeah, the media/entertainment elements will be the main selling point. I'm almost positive I can convince her we need the Xbox One.

Only have a pair of PlayStation Golds for PS4. Pretty much looking for recommendations as I have little knowledge when it comes to gaming headsets.

I got them, however, I haven't had the chance to really use them. Destiny will actually be the first game for the One I'll be buying. Only had Forza which came with the console, and the free games with the "games with Gold". I haven't actually used the console much for gaming(I bought the One in June), mostly just TV so far.

that'll change next week though with Destiny.

If you can get them on sale, I would say It'll be worth it. I don't know about the MS price. I think I got them for around $45 or $50. Amazon has them for $60 right now. It comes with the adapter, so if in the future to do get a different headset, you wouldn't need to purchase the adapter separately to use for chat.

Setup my new Fios boxes today.Had TV set up thru Xbox.After got that done, I tried voice commands and it didn't work so I just turned system off by hand.Come back 2 hours later and turn on system and it has update looking bar, then had to do my system as if new system(deleted everything)!!!!Anybody had this happen?

Believe it requires a card, it is a subscription like music and live and is handled differently than a one-off purchase.
