    Re: Xbox One

Been having an issue for a couple of weeks now. Every time I use my Astros A50's my controller randomly disconnects then reconnects. It does this a lot. It's starting to become annoying. Has anyone else had this problem?

EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

It's extremely annoying. I called Xbox support today and they didn't really know what the issue was. I sent Astro an email on the issue today also. Let's we what they say. I wonder if it's a firmware issue, but I don't understand since I have the 2nd gen Astro A50's that came out long after both the ps4 and Xbox one came out so wouldn't it be up to date? I see their latest update on these headsets is from November 2013..

              Re: Xbox One

Astro responded to my email and said it's due to a faulty controller. I bought a new one and been playing on it and so far no problems with the headset. I'll play again tonight for a while to see if that was really the problem.

                Re: Xbox One

When the Xbox One first came out in Nov. 2013, I had a similar issue with NBA 2k14 -- my controller was always disconnecting. I ended up getting rid of the game. Shortly thereafter, the Xbox One had a controller update so who knows if that fixed the problem or if there was a bug in the game that caused the issue. I have not had any issues since.

I had the same issue with 2k14 but not any other game I was playing at the time.

For anyone who watches DVD's and downloads digital movies and TV shows on Xbox One, is it possible to "stretch" the picture like you can on Xbox 360? Thanks.

Looks like a feature request exists for that on uservoice, so doesn't look like it.: http://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/251...dvd-content-in

I've never seen this first hand, we haven't played a regular DVD on it ever, and rarely play Blu-Rays anymore as our collection goes more digital (wish I could purchase in Amazon Instant Video on Xbox One). Not excusing it, reasonable expectation/use case for sure.

Thanks for the info. You can't stretch the picture for digital content either, like movies and TV shows? If not, guess I have to keep my Xbox 360 a while longer.

I haven't noticed any digital content that's needed to be stretched, so not sure.
