Ok, I have some questions about game sharing

My little brother just bought a Xbox One with no games until he saved up some more to buy some. Anyway I have quite a bit of digital games but I'm not entirely sure how it all works

I heard I need to sign into his Xbox with my account and make that my home console? But if I do that wouldn't he be in control of my account such as buying things, get my account banned for doing dumb stuff online and such?

Not saying he would do that but, I don't live there and would hate if someone stole his Xbox, or got on it while he was gone then they have all my info... I also heard that if his Xbox is my home console then I can't play any of the digital games offline? Again not a huge deal but what if my internet was down...

Can't I take my account off after he downloads them or what? Guess I'm pretty lost on this subject

Yes, that's usually how people do it: set their brother's console as their home console, then stay signed into their console. Usually, the other person then does the same thing: set your console as their home console and stay logged into theirs. Then you can effectively "share games" provided you have a working internet connection.

The downsides are exactly what you mention.

It's not much, but I can offer your brother some free digital games that I get as an employee (and I haven't redeemed for myself). Would he like any of these until he gets some more money? They aren't great, but it's not like I'm offering you Lococycle

Come on stud, you shouldn't be selling that Killer Instinct package short. Iron Galaxy has done great stuff with the variety in the season 2 characters and the new shadow mode has been really well received.

Yeah, I know the game has actually been well received, but fighting games are still a bit of a niche genre and so it's hit or miss if someone wants them.

Anyone here have an external hard drive connected to their xbox one? If so, is anyone suffering any slight button press delays or ever so small lag in the menu portion of any games installed on that hard drive? Specifically with Madden 15? I have project cars and 2k15 installed there as well but those seem to be without issues..

I'll be glad when mine finally gets here so I can have more then just a few games installed.... Stinks to have so many but can only have like 5 installed, especially BF4 which takes up a huge huge amount with all its DLC

Lol same here, I have a 3tb hdd and I have about 30 games installed and have about 2.7 gb left, and not to mention my 500gb Xbone hdd only has my apps installed. I think ill be good forever, and I have games that are huge not no 15gb games. I'm all set, im fully digital, will never buy a hard copy game again, im preordering batman AK next week too
